Generally, I do not review products, but in this particular case, I will make an exception. This specific bike (not a spin bike) was purchased in 4/2021, and the choice was made partly due to the positive comments I had read, but mainly out of necessity as it was one of the few models available on the market. My weight is 95kg, and that's why I spoke to the dealership before purchasing it, and they assured me that there would be no problem with its use due to weight, as the limit is 130kg. The delivery was made on the sidewalk, and I easily assembled it myself. On its second use, the resistance lever head literally came off in my hand! I called the dealership and they took my details to have the technical department contact me. I am still waiting... With my own improvisation, I managed to fix the lever head and make it functional again. After 7-8 workouts, the resistance lever started spinning freely. Opening the side covers of the bike, I found that the screw that should have acted as a stable part had started rotating along with the lever, and its threads were worn out! Also, the left pedal makes a thumping sound with each rotation. I called the dealership again, and this time they told me from the technical department that this particular bike is for home use (as if I have it in a gym) and for static use, meaning it is not suitable for upright cycling or interval training with resistance changes! Therefore, IT IS NOT A SPIN BIKE! I decided to keep it for as long as possible with my own improvisations, despite its problems, although I don't see it lasting more than a year. Unfortunately, the technical support is not the best one can find. I regret having spent such an amount to buy a basically static bike when I could have spent an additional 200 euros and bought a proper spin bike. I hope I helped.
It is an excellent home use bicycle but it is not a spin bike. What do I mean? Spinning involves upright cycling, proper pedaling, with resistance or even less, and of course speed. It has given me trouble twice with the right pedal, in the inner bearing, and the technician told me that it is because of the upright training, that I should do seated training instead. Of course, they fixed it for me because it has a warranty, but they told me that I should do home use seated training. And I wonder... Why do they call it a spin bike? Honestly, I am rather disappointed because initially I had spoken on the phone with the company to explain what I needed and they reassured me by saying that since the upper limit is 130 kilograms and I weigh less than 80, there would be no problem
I bought it solely based on the reviews it has!!!!!
Very good tool, I don't regret it at all and I immediately forgot that I spent 420€, it's worth it.....
I preferred it over the ones with a value of 250-300€ and I didn't regret it!!
I am 1.77m tall and my wife is 1.65m.
It suits us incredibly well, very stable and completely silent!!
The saddle is incredibly comfortable!
It has a combination of magnetic and pad resistance!
It has a counter with the 5 basic indications, and a holder for a mobile phone!
The handlebars and saddle can be adjusted in height and front-back!
The main thing about the price is that they all have the same price, so that is its value. On the contrary, most of the others have increased their price and each one prices it as they want.
I have it for a week and so far I agree with all the positives of other users. From what I have seen in market research, it is the cheapest one that will not give you any problems, it will not sour anything for you, and as a machine, it is very good.
It is the first indoor bicycle I bought. Completely silent when you ride it, with the magnet making more noise than the bike itself. It doesn't move left-right or front-back, even during a sprint. The display has simple indicators, nothing special besides the basics, which is reasonable for its price of 420 euros.
The only negative thing for me (although subjective like everything else) is that when you tighten the resistance knob to increase the difficulty on the pedal and the brake pad starts rubbing against the wheel, it emits a smell from the friction that prevents me from continuing at that intensity, indoors. I would continue in an outdoor space with clean air. So I don't know if it's the paste of this specific brake pad or if all bikes with brake pads behave like this. Also, this 'issue' that bothers me might not bother most women, because the level of difficulty in pedaling and working the brake pad is quite high and probably concerns men more.
Initially, when I saw the size, I got worried because it seemed small and I thought it would be unstable. Not only does it not move, but it is amazing! And I am not lightweight (96). Very sturdy construction. Completely silent. Very flexible resistance for all tastes. Very comfortable seat compared to other bicycles. Easy assembly. Only the screen is very simple. It does not measure pulses. It shows basic indications of calories, speed, distance, and time. If you like statistics, get a Fit Watch :) I highly recommend it.
I bought it 20 days ago as an emergency solution because whatever was available in the market either didn't suit me or was too expensive for me. After 20 days, I have the following to say:
1. I would still buy it even if it was more expensive! It is definitely more than what I expected!
2. The picture doesn't do it justice, it is more beautiful and the build quality is excellent.
3. The resistance is very strong, it will satisfy even the most demanding users.
4. When only the magnetic resistance is used (which is more than enough), the noise is minimal (nothing like what you know from classic spin bikes) and the motion is very smooth. When the brake pad is engaged (you can't do more than 5-10 minutes unless you are an athlete), only then you experience the classic "problems" of spin bikes (friction noise and less smooth motion), but still not to an annoying degree.
5. The adjustment capabilities are complete (you can definitely find your position) and the saddle is unusually comfortable for spin.
Excellent bike... Very good construction and very beautiful!!! The resistance is very good because the magnets do a great job!!! The only thing I have to say is that this saddle that comes with it is not for spinning, it's for city biking... Super comfortable, I won't deny it, but thick and wide!!!
Update for everyone... After two months of use (I should mention that I haven't changed the lights and the brake pad is still intact), it developed a problem with the resistance thread and it got worn out along with the screw!!! Unacceptable, even though the technician tried to blame us for changing the lights when we haven't even touched the brake pads... With all the back and forth, I found out that everyone was very polite and helpful except for the technician who was slightly rude... They sent me spare parts and now I have to figure out how to install them... I didn't have the option to send it back because I'm outside of Attica and the shipping costs are outrageous...
UPDATE: I lowered the rating!!! The thread of the spare part got worn out in a month, absolutely unacceptable!!! You make a great bike but you choose galvanized material for the most important part of the bike, what can I say??? Now I have an issue finding steel for welding, etc!!! Such a shame, 400€ is not worth it...
Very good build quality and very easy assembly. The seat is the most comfortable I have tried on a spin bike. It doesn't move at all during intense cycling and it also has a lot of resistance. It is also not noisy at all.
Very easy assembly, very comfortable saddle. The flow of movement is flawless both in low and high resistance. The high resistance is so strong that you have to be an athlete to overcome it, because it uses both a magnet and a brake pad. 5 out of 5 from me.
