The Super Energy Pro by Baseus will allow you to start a car with a completely discharged battery. It also serves as a Powerbank for charging smartphones and tablets.
Essential accessory
It is an essential accessory that you should always have with you, suitable for cold days or if you have forgotten to turn off your car lights. Its use is easy and safe for both you and your car.
Just connect the clamps correctly, with the red tip on the +plus and the black on the -minus, and do not forget to disconnect the power bank immediately after starting the engine.
Additionally, it has a built-in flashlight with three different modes for easy use at night or in an emergency.
Ability to charge additional devices
The energy consumption of the Baseus jump starter is only 0.05mA, which means that even if you forget to charge it all year, it will retain about 85% of its energy. This way, it will never let you down - it will be ready for action at any time and will allow you to start the car in a minute!
Additionally, it is equipped with a practical digital display that shows the battery percentage. Just press the button to see if charging is necessary. The Baseus jump starter also features a USB-C port, which allows you to use it as an efficient power bank and power supply.
Security Features
The Super Energy Pro jump starter is equipped with a range of safety features that make it possible to use its functions without any fear.
You will use it successfully even in the most extreme conditions, as it guarantees a normal start at temperatures from -20℃ to 60℃. Additionally, it is protected from short circuit, overload, and overcharging. All these ensure safe operation in almost any situation.
What does it mean that the Super Energy Pro is a battery jump starter?
A jump starter is used to start a vehicle when its battery is depleted or weak. If the battery, for example, of the car does not have enough power to start the engine, the jump starter provides the necessary energy to start it.
Therefore, it cannot be used as a battery charger as it has only a starting function.

Like the previous model, it does a pretty good job, but despite having more mAh, the difference is small. Fully charged, it does what the old one does plus one more machine. Considering that the charging indicator is very unreliable and after a couple of uses in a large vehicle, you don't know what's going on and if you'll be able to start it again, then it's not worth it. I use it in a van that generally runs out easily if you don't know its quirks, and I might need it 3 times a week. I constantly worry about it running out uncharged, and I've been caught twice thinking it was at 45%, but it probably wasn't. I wouldn't buy it again even if it cost 25 euros. For someone who wants to charge it every 6 months and just have it in their car as a backup, it's okay, but prefer the previous model which you might find cheaper (I've used that one for 4 years a lot and in bad conditions, almost completely uncharged I would start the car, and now it's starting to age a bit. Whoever wants it for once a year, should get it and keep it forever).
Reliable product for now. When I received it, it was charged to 48%. It charged to 100% after 4-5 hours. Ultimately, it was used completely randomly 5 times in 3 different passenger cars 1.2-1.6 cc. The starts were immediate and on the first attempt. The charge is at 72%, and I was told not to recharge it, to leave it for about 4 months to see if it drops below 35-40%. I don't know what to do.... Anyway, it is reliable and the cars started effortlessly. If you have any idea or information about its recharging or its current waiting period, it is welcome.
It will do its job but...
from a 100% charge as the related indicator showed, after one use to jump start a 1400cc Seat car, the indicator immediately dropped to 40%. The fact that the packaging claims for continuous use 50 times is simply inaccurate, not to mention a lie. Now there are no instructions inside, so if someone needs them, they are as follows. First, connect the red (+) to the positive and the black to the negative (strictly in this order). Then connect the plug to the device, press the button on it, and start the car. If the connection is not correct, it makes a sound, you will understand. Once it starts, turn it off with the button, disconnect the plug, and then remove the cables, first the black and then the red.
From my experience using it on many types of cars, it is very powerful. It even boosts diesel engines which theoretically require more power. I highly recommend it.
Excellent purchase and does exactly what it promises. Every 2 months I discharge it in every way and recharge it to keep the battery fresh, and after 1 1/2 months it started the car right away and the battery was at 85%... with only 25% used... honest!!!
Seat Ibiza 1.4 2005 101hp
The alarm drained the 60Ah battery.
Charging the powerbank with a 1 amp charger for 8 hours for proper and slow charging.
It started up but the power steering wasn't working. I turn it off and on again with the starter, starts up again. Battery remaining at 100% after 2 uses.
I believe the key is in the 1 amp charger, even though it supports up to 3 amps (possible charging in 2-3 hours) and never let it drop below 50% as the manual states.
Edit 11/7/24
3rd time I used it with 82% remaining
When I received it, it had a 50% charge, I charged it until it reached 100%, I would say it was a slow charge.
I used it to start a Daihatsu Terios, of course it started right away, and the charge of the Baseus did not drop below 100%.
Absolutely satisfied.
I have made a video with the product on my YouTube channel and I compare it with the older model to see the differences. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eHsomSXX8kk
I have bought a second one because I was satisfied, if it is charged at 100% you forget it in the trunk for months, and it definitely gives you 3-4 starts, always for conventional cars up to 2,000cc. The only thing I miss is a case, which now several models have.
External, immediate, and reliable solution for rejuvenating the Bosch 48Ah battery, which, although relatively new, is connected to a 20-year-old car that is driven once every 3 months.
Immediate "battery wake-up" with fast and very "clean" connection, even without the battery itself showing significant discharge. (For example, several times with a completely dead battery, the engine started with two attempts, while the Baseus charging balance dropped from 100% to 73%.)
Unmatched in terms of autonomy (many other solutions are connected to wall chargers), size, and weight. It charges itself via USB and has USB-A and USB-C outputs as a common power bank.
Excellent product.
I bought it in an emergency and it's permanently in the car.
Very easy to use with simple instructions.
It was used on a dead battery from a Piaggio Beverly and it worked perfectly. The battery stayed at 100% even after using it on the scooter.
A purchase that I will never regret and I will definitely get one as a gift for my brother.
First time trying it today and it really saved me. The car with a 1.4lt engine, after several days of inactivity (and generally a car that doesn't drive much), the starter didn't even turn. So as soon as I connected it and put it in first gear, it started moving forward. I should emphasize that the fact that it has a light that turns red and makes a warning sound if you connect it incorrectly is quite helpful. Also, the indicator dropped from 100% to 80%, so I believe it can handle 2 to 3 starts as the Manual says not to use it below 50%.
I am adding this review because I needed it for the second time today, on 25/2, to start a Honda motorcycle with a 1800cc engine that had been inactive for 4 months. With the first try, it managed to start it. The indicator remained at 80%, so maybe the indicator is not so reliable.
Nevertheless, this tool has saved me both times I needed it
After two years, I have used it 5 times on different cars and it has really saved me, mainly from waiting for roadside assistance. It can withstand starting the car more than once (I estimate about four or five times before needing to be charged), so you can leave home, go to work, start it again to return, and then deal with the battery without worry and without disrupting your schedule! Excellent purchase! This particular product has proven to be reliable. It was worth the approximately 55 euros (offer) that I bought it for. Now it has gone up a bit, but there are cheaper alternatives available.
It was purchased for use in the car and on the motorcycle.... It was used in the car and started without any problems. It seems that it does not easily lose its charge, but it is still relatively new (six months since its purchase) and has already been charged twice (once because I discharged it "playing" with its buttons and once after use as a precaution). I hope it withstands the test of time.
It was used in a Skoda Octavia 5 with a drained battery to the point where it couldn't provide the necessary power to start the engine. From 100% battery, the Baseus went down to 73%. I would say that's a reasonable percentage for starting a 2L engine. However, the manual states that the Baseus battery should not drop below 50%. This gives you another chance to start it in a larger car, so be careful! Otherwise, it has good build quality and is easy to use.
When I ordered this specific starter, the car's electronics were working, but it wouldn't move forward.
Today, when I tried to put it in gear, the battery had died, and the electronics weren't working at all.
Not only did it start immediately, but the starter's level remained at 100%! (I expected it to drop to around 10%-20% with use)
I not only recommend it, it is an essential tool for every driver.
I used it on my motorcycle where the battery had dropped so much that the seat wouldn't even open. Although it didn't work the first day, I decided to try it again the next day, but this time I held the alligator clips better and it worked immediately! It definitely worth its money and additionally, you can have it with you everywhere in the car for a difficult time since it's like a power bank. I would like to find a case to keep it organized, of course, but I will buy something from Ali. Along with a rechargeable Xiaomi pump that I have, they will always be in my car.
It put forward a dead battery in an Avensis in 3 minutes. It notifies you if you don't connect the cables correctly with an audible and red light. When the audible sound goes off and the light is green, it is correct. Very good.
I bought it solely for the jump starter
for emergency situations, I tested it on a Ford Transit with a 2000cc engine, completely disconnecting the battery from the cables, it started the engine effortlessly and remained at 100%. It's worth its money.
I needed it for jump-starting a battery, it started right away and dropped to 20%. It charged my phone like a breeze, 45 minutes from 30% to 90%. Overall, very satisfied for now
To be used as a power bank, it is very good. As a jump starter, I used it once and the battery percentage dropped to 1% immediately. I tried to charge it again, but it seems like the LCD screen has some issues. I didn't try to use it again. However, the construction is very nice! For the price of 90 euros, there are better products available, like the Stanley!
I have had the starter for about 5 months, I use it at work where with each charge it starts about 7 to 10 cars depending on the engine size. I used it for 80% of the charge on a 1.6 diesel Passat engine, which it easily started with the indicator dropping to 60%. It is definitely worth its money as it saves you from... a lot. The charge indicator has some sudden drops (20-25%) after starting, but it might be normal.
Powerful little tool, you hope you never have to use it. But if fate brings it that way... you'll come out clean! I used it once on a hybrid Yaris. With caution always and according to the manual. It did the job!!! Beautiful design as well. I recommend it!!!
I have used it to start two cars, a 1600cc gasoline and a 1500cc diesel, several times and it does what it promises. Perhaps the battery indicator is not so reliable, but it does not hinder its performance. Overall, with one charge, I have successfully started it at least 5 times and the indicator shows 45%. I have not used it for mobile charging and I have no opinion on that. However, as a car and motorcycle starter, I highly recommend it without hesitation.
I bought this device, at the price of €56, about three weeks ago and I have tested it both as a power bank and as a car starter. Its capacity, at 5V, is 7000mAh. The 12000mAh mentioned by the company is for a voltage of 3.7V, as is the case with all power banks. With a 3A mobile charger, it takes about three hours to fully charge, but the charging indicator is not reliable, as it sometimes shows 50% and then suddenly jumps to 70% or even 100%, or sometimes gets stuck at one level for hours. As a power bank, it is capable of charging my phone (4500mAh) about one and a half times. The fast charging function only works for a short period of time, as after about fifteen minutes, it automatically switches to regular charging...
Now, as a car starter, which is its main use, I tried it on a 1400cc diesel car with a completely drained battery and it started the car easily. However, the device's battery immediately dropped to 40% from the initial 100% before the start. The manual states that in order to function as a car starter, the charge level must be above 50%, so we can conclude that it is capable of only one start per charge. And since it discharged so much after just one start of a 1400cc car, the claims of the company that it can start the car 50 times(...) or petrol cars up to 6 liters and diesel cars up to 3 liters with one charge, are definitely not true. I should note here that after starting the car and while the battery was showing 40% on the screen, I plugged it in to charge and after 45 minutes, it suddenly jumped to 100%. Therefore, I cannot be completely sure about the battery drop during the start, as the indicator is so unreliable...
In conclusion, I can say that for fifty euros, it is OK. You have it in your car, fully charged, and it will get you out of trouble if you run out of battery. However, if you want to use it frequently to start multiple cars, it probably won't do the job...
*The two lights it has are only for decoration, as they illuminate much less than the flash of a mobile phone.
**04/12/2023 Two years after the purchase, it has been used a few times (I don't run out of battery every day...), but every time it did its job and it remains equally effective until today.
I just make sure to discharge it (by charging my phone) and recharge it periodically, so it is fully charged when needed. Apart from the unreliable charging indicator, it has no issues whatsoever, so I can say that it is very reliable.
Very good tool and beautiful, from a reliable and well-known company in car equipment, I ended up using it faster than I imagined, for someone else not for myself, but still it made me feel confident, the car started in half a second. Its positives compared to most of its kind is that it charges with a USB type-C port, with all the benefits and conveniences that entails (you will always have such a cable to charge it instead of searching for chargers with a round plug). I was lucky to buy it on sale for around 56€ but around 70-80€ it is a good solution compared to the current competition. For someone who wants to spend less, I think the other lower-end models of Baseus (micro-USB charging) are also decent and fine, but this one is the latest model and has a slightly larger capacity, more powerful for larger vehicles, boats, etc. When I received it, it was around 65-55% capacity, I charged it to 100% and since I used it today, it remained at 100%.
While before I got it, I had the opinion that such products are not worth it in the sense that with the same amount of money, you can get a new battery, in the end, I changed my mind. You make a return on investment in time and money even without using it, just from the moment you AVOID unnecessary trips burning liters and € in fuel just to charge a weak battery that might leave you stranded, you get rid of an additional ANXIETY and of course, you help someone known or unknown once in a while in an easy way. Of course, we read the user manual (in English) before use, a 2-3 minute affair, and there are also videos on YouTube. Always when connecting cables, first we connect the positive pole and then the negative one, and when it starts, we immediately disconnect it by removing the negative pole first and then the positive one. These are the few things. It has nice specs and I don't think it lags behind anything from the starters above 100€, although I don't have a comparison measure, personal estimation.
