This anthology is an effort to educate younger Greeks about the events of the Revolution and the unknown aspects of the people who heroically sacrificed their lives and their families for the freedom of their homeland. It also aims to introduce a multitude of anonymous heroes who played a leading role in important moments of this Struggle and, under the guidance of experienced military leaders such as Kolokotronis, Karaïskakis, Nikitaras, Papaflessas, Androutsos, and others, managed to provide unparalleled lessons of bravery for future generations.
