Needless to say, the quality that everyone talks about in the comments is not that good, but anyway it will show if the 85-year-old falls on your neck, I suppose because it's just "capitalism" so basically I don't think you care at all.
It came with broken batteries for the light, and I say, ok this goes to waste because I didn't expect it to come with batteries at all, I would put them anyway, but it also didn't even say what batteries it takes in the description from the beginning, anyway I changed them, I didn't imagine (my mistake) that it would take the less practical ones to change and find, that is the LR44 and I bet with so many LEDs it will run out very quickly especially if someone "manages" to use it constantly, because, it doesn't have any on/off switch anywhere, that is, who thinks that 80+ year old people will bother to unscrew a cover to open/close it, which is not even as simple as I describe it in words, because the handle is designed and how much searching is needed as they screw the screws to open it so even worse especially during the hours a light is needed, that is at night so it doesn't fall, so useless is this characteristic of it.
Essentially it ends up being a simple stick, and a simple wooden stick that does exactly the same thing, costs 1/3 of the price...
It has a relatively sturdy shock absorber which because it plays a little, is supposed to absorb the shock which in reality doesn't matter because usually there is not enough shock to absorb due to the nature of use, exactly for this reason I don't know if one can get used to it so this characteristic is lost and the worst thing is that it doesn't describe anywhere that it exists because if it did, I wouldn't take it just for that, it also doesn't have any mechanism to lock the shock absorber and of course, unfortunately, it doesn't come out permanently.
Also it is not foldable as it appears in the photos, its parts are detachable with mechanisms of questionable durability.
Also the fact that it does not have the bottom with the 4 little feet that it shows for stability and to make an angle so that it not only stabilizes on its own as it says, something very useful for people of such age as it advertises, so generally it is not worth it not so much for its price but for the fact that it is not even close to what it describes, get a simple, sturdy wooden stick, attach a flashlight with rechargeable batteries without wasting money and so you will have done all the things it says instead of this monstrosity of a product.
