Unfortunately, it is not like the G5040 which was a workhorse. And I was told by Canon to replace it with this one (since the 5040 has been discontinued) but it has nothing to do with it.
1. It is relatively slower.
2. It has only one paper tray and that is very small. It barely holds 80 sheets. In fact, if you fill it a little more, it gives an error and asks you to clean the print head even though the sheets have fit normally.
3. When you give bulk prints, it stops the process every so often to clean the head.
4. The fact that Canon made the mega tank to sell the inks in bottles and yet has a different bottle (with a different nozzle so it fits on the printer and injects the ink) for each model, surpasses me. The previous one broke and I had to throw away all the bottles I had bought for the previous one. (no store accepts them back).

Stay away from anything CANON... Soon the ink collection container at the back will fill up and there are no consumables available in Greece... and the printer will stop working... CANON doesn't care if your machine works after a while... just buy it and then cut your throat... so we throw away 2 printers that we bought in 6 months... Draw your own conclusions...
I won't start writing about the responses we received from CANON... you will cry and laugh together.
The positive thing is that while they were working, they were excellent and economical...
