It works well, it actually cleans both the floor and the carpets, by using the appropriate head and brush (it has both included).
Advantages: You can easily clean the floor with clean water, as it dispenses clean water and collects the dirty water in a separate container. It saves water since it requires less water than what I would use with a mop. It effectively removes stains without much effort, and only if there is a tough stain, it may require some localized scrubbing with a sponge. It reaches under tall furniture. You don't need to take out your carpets for washing, you can wash them in place and leave them to dry overnight (it doesn't leave them too wet). You can use any detergent you want, it doesn't have to be from the same company (I use a general-purpose one for tiles and a liquid detergent for wool clothes for the carpets).
Disadvantages: It is a bit heavy in the hand (but it saves you from wringing the mop). It doesn't reach corners very well, and not at all under low furniture where the mop would reach. It is not easy to find spare parts when needed. It makes slightly more noise than a conventional vacuum cleaner. I'm not sure about the service in Greece. However, when I had an issue in the beginning, I was properly assisted by the store where I bought it.
