Description

The Kolink Core series is a range of high-quality power supplies that offer excellent value for money. This new ARGB version adds a side ARGB panel that creates a variety of effects to suit the user's tastes.

80 Plus Certification

Like the non-RGB version, it is 80 Plus certified, which guarantees power efficiency above 80 percent from 20 percent usage at 115 volts. All models in the Core series meet the requirements of EU regulation No. 617/2013 for safe operation on the European 230-volt network. Kolink's Core power supplies offer a low-cost solution for powering your system.

ARGB Lighting

The output of the LED lights can be adjusted with the press of a button on the power supply itself. Alternatively, they can be controlled via a standard 3-pin connector on the motherboard. In fact, it is possible to further customize the RGB side panel by applying an alternative sticker (included with the power supply). Additionally, the flat black ribbon cables complement the bright LED lights and have the advantage of facilitating cable management.

System Protection

The Core RGB protects your PC from over-power (OPP), over-voltage (OVP), under-voltage (UVP), over-current (OCP), over-temperature (OTP), and short-circuit (SCP).

I don't like the price, you can find much better power supplies with 80 plus gold and much more reliable. "It doesn't even have an on-off button" (I only bought it for the RGB it has because it matches the case I have)

It does not have a power supply cable and the metal sheet is bent (brand new from the box) and in most towers, the RGB lights are not even visible. Do not buy it, it is not worth it at all

It is not the best on the market, however for the money it is very good. The RGB is satisfactory, although the cable management is mediocre to bad.

For budget builds, it's great, it has black flat cables for almost everything and they are discreet, as long as the case you put it in has a little space to fold them and not take up space.
Just the button on the back doesn't turn off the power supply, but changes the lighting effect on the RGB LED from the side.
It comes with 2 stickers to put on the RGB and choose the display you want.
I haven't seen any problems with Ryzen & Radeon, and from an older model I had in another build, they had proven to be reliable! Hopefully, this one is too, we'll see!

It does its job for a budget power supply. However, it has its negatives. The build quality is low and it reminds me of the back of cheap cases that can bend with relatively little pressure. It's not a big problem though since it's a power supply, it will stay in the same position and won't be visible in most cases.

    2. For some reason, there is no switch on the power supply, which is strange to me but okay.

    3. Of course, since it's non-modular, cable management becomes more difficult. But even in a small case that I used it for, I managed. Additionally, it has sufficient connections and the cables are also in black color, which is indifferent for some but positive for others.

    4. A minor downside is that the connectors that can be separated into smaller ones are a bit cheap in construction and don't stay in one place.

Overall, I believe the power supply is worth the price of 30-50.

  • I bought the power supply 2 months ago and for me, it's worth the money. If it had an On/Off switch, it would be even better. Its RGB is perfect with various colors and makes the PC more beautiful

A good mid to high quality power supply with special emphasis on its LED lighting. If someone is getting it for gaming, it is good to get one with 700 watts and above. Time will show its durability, but it seems to be a fairly high-quality construction

Very shapeless with the LEDs, it does its job consistently so far (about 1 month), maybe a little issue with cable organization, relatively quiet. At this price, very good for me

This review is about the power: 500 W

This particular power supply impressed me because it has RGB functionality, and essentially you can remove the company sticker and print your own design so that it illuminates what you have created by yourself. I got the 500 Watt version for an economical system I built, and the installation was very easy and I didn't have any issues in general. I recommend it!

Very good. The cable management was the worst. The case I have to fit my power supply is the Kolink Void. Okay, it's not the power supply's fault but some cables seemed unable to reach and connect to the MSI B450M PRO-VDH Max motherboard. I managed to do it in the end. It also has some useless cables like the vdg. It also lights up and has a color. And I have no idea what that paper that comes with the power supply is, but I think you place it on top of the logo. I was very confused with the green button at the back because it wasn't the on/off button. But don't press it, it's not necessary. I recommend you to get it.

It's annoying that the cables are wrapped like this. It also frustrates me that it doesn't have instructions and I had to Google how to run the A-RGB from the motherboard instead of the button on it.
    2. To connect the ARGB to the motherboard, press the green button for 3 seconds. The motherboard will detect it, and we can control it from there.
    3. Impressive RGB effects, and I like that it's controlled by the motherboard.
    4. I don't know about durability yet. But I had a Kolink before and didn't have any issues, I changed it because I wanted RGB.

I had a Kolink power supply for about a year now, without any issues. I got this RGB one because it looks great in my Phanteks Evolv ITX case. It's perfect, no issues again. Asus Z390-I ROG with i7 8700K, 32GB DDR4 3200mhz, 2 x m.2 drives, 1 x 1tb SSD, and 1 x 2tb 2.5-inch hard drive, along with RGB and EVGA 1080 and a large Arctic cooler, 4 120mm fans and 1 140mm fan. Absolutely no issues, and the RGB is beautiful. I changed the design. It gives you options for what it will display...
