The F70 Tino by HJC is a full face helmet, which protects the entire head and jaw. For this reason, this type of helmet is considered the safest and most durable for both travel and city rides. It is made of composite fibre, that is, from synthetic fibers that make it flexible and resistant to shock absorption. It fastens with a double d ring, also known as a ring. It is the safest and most reliable fastening, but it requires both hands to tie. The package includes an anti-fog film, an additional accessory for the helmet visor that prevents it from fogging up. It is placed on the inner side of the helmet and is useful during the winter months. Additionally, it features a sun visor, which is an internal sunshade film, like glass, for protection from the sun.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
I have this helmet for 5 months now mainly for city rides, and I am quite satisfied. It has a very good fit and doesn't tire me. Unfortunately, at higher speeds, it has a small noise that is barely noticeable. I would definitely recommend it.
Awesome and high-quality helmet. Very good sound insulation, also very nice airflow from the vents! Completely satisfied.
I come from an HJC RPHA ST helmet, which I love and have used for over 70,000 km, both on trips and in the city.
I chose this particular helmet because it has a sleeker design, believing that it would not produce noise at 120+ km/h like my previous one, and I was completely right! It is a very quiet helmet, for example, on the scooter without protection, I can speak normally with the intercom at 100 km/h (with the old one, I couldn't hear half of what was being said at 60 km/h), and on the touring bike with a tall fairing, it feels the same as 120 km/h on the old helmet.
The padding is very tight and gives a sense of high quality, just like it is.
The visor has a fantastic mechanism, silent and stable to the point where I was greatly impressed by the quality.
The field of view is fantastic, with peripheral vision, I can't see where the visor ends. The sun visor is also very good, a little darker than what I was used to, but more useful in intense sunlight.
The ventilation is very good, but it hasn't been tested yet in temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius.
In addition to the pin lock, the package includes a larger second visor and an extension for the chin (the padding under the chin), luxuries that I had never thought of but make a difference.
The helmet has a special groove for intercom cables and there is plenty of space for speakers, resulting in a very clean installation without any hassle of folded cables and hiding them behind the padding.
Now, onto the negatives: it is a large helmet. It fits in a 44-liter suitcase, but I have to squeeze and sweat to fit the second touring helmet of the passenger, but it doesn't fit under the scooter (Medley) at all. For potential buyers who don't want to carry a helmet, definitely try it in the storage space!
I tried several helmets with the main competitor being the Shoei GT2 (which, of course, we couldn't find how it fit on my head), and in terms of quality, they are very close, but they are far apart in terms of price, meaning that the HJC F70 offers excellent value for money
