The mask makes my hair silky, soft, and easy to comb! Now the coverage wasn't very intense. I believe the crucial factor is the quantity that needs to be used, the type of hair strands, and the time the product stays on the hair. For me, it brought a quite satisfactory result as I want a renewal in Chestnut shade. I recommend it 100% for the velvety feeling it offers and the treatment it does to the hair.
After a failed balayage, I ended up with a dark honey hair color with copper highlights that didn't suit me at all. Since I didn't want to constantly do highlights with bleach and 20 volume developer, I decided to try something simpler. I bought this mask in the shade chocolate touch, with the intention of making my hair more chocolatey! I ended up with a dark caramel color, which doesn't bother me at all.
After washing my hair, I apply the mask, leave it on for 15 minutes, and I have a wonderful result in terms of color. Unfortunately, as a mask, it doesn't moisturize my hair at all, so after applying it, I use a hair mask and seal it with conditioner.
In terms of color longevity, it lasts for about 6-7 washes for me and I am satisfied.
For shoulder-length hair, this particular tube is enough for 2.5 applications max.
It's a shame that it doesn't cover the white hairs, but it's okay, I cover them with regular dye at the roots (5.1 and 6) and then apply the mask on top, and the color is uniform.
I will continue to purchase it until I get tired of the chocolate touch color.
Just keep in mind that if you ever want to use a color remover on top, I'm afraid it might turn out orange-copper. I believe it dyes and never completely fades.
**edit**
I thought, if I mix chocolate touch with the cool espresso shade, maybe I can reduce the redness a bit. It turned out to be a dark shade between 4 and 5, and the balayage has dark chocolate tones. Maybe it needed less cool espresso, but experimentation is the father of discovery, so once this one fades with washes, I will try again and let you know the results!
I have dark brown hair and I haven't dyed it in recent years. I have some white hairs in certain areas. I don't intend to dye them and I wanted to try a color mask to temporarily cover them.
I applied it on dry hair for at least 40 minutes. Without shampoo afterwards.
The result was as if I didn't apply it at all.
No difference. I bought two packages, so €30 wasted. Only the smell is worth it.
And few ml for the money.
