I wore them with caution in a 160 km race!! My feet didn't feel anything!! Excellent grip and protection!!! I highly recommend them without reservation!

They are at the end of their cycle (the release of v2 is about to start) so it is likely that they will be discounted.
I have had the shoe for 1 year, a total of ~400 km so far. With these, I have run at least 10 races, ranging from 10 to 50 km.
- The shoe is not the lightest but you don't feel the extra weight even in small races.
- It is not soft, nor does it have a high stack height, but this helps you have better contact with the ground. Also, the cushioning is sufficient even in races of 6+ hours.
- It dries quickly if you dive into water (tested!!!)
- The rockplate is important, especially in the Greek mountains with the planted stones.
- One of the big pros is its upper, it fits like a sock and you can run without even tightening the laces! Perhaps one of the best uppers in a trail shoe. The laces are the well-known Salomon quicklace with a storage pocket, very important to avoid tangling in bushes/branches, etc.
- No wear (maybe a little on the outsole, but reasonable) after 400 km.
- The outsole is so-so. Generally, it doesn't slip, but it's not top of the category in wet conditions.
- Unfortunately, the cost is huge, I think it's only worth it on sale (at least 30% off).
- Another downside is that it will dye your socks purple in the first few runs.
Apart from me, I saw many others wearing it at the Olympus Marathon. Also, one of the best ultrarunners at the moment, Courtney Dauwalter (sponsored by Salomon, of course), doesn't take it off even in 160 km races! She must know something!
Edit: They were retired at 1000 km due to wear on the lugs of the outsole and a decrease in the midsole's cushioning. The upper didn't suffer anything for so long. They earned their money, I bought the v2 to replace them!

Everything is very good. Extremely comfortable (at least for me and for the use I want them for). The placement of the laces in the tongue pocket is a bit difficult. They slightly slide on wet rocks, but nothing annoying.
