Rear tire scooter Roadtec of the company Metzeler. Its dimensions are 140/70-14, which means it has a width of 140mm, a profile of 70, and can be mounted on a rim with a diameter of 14". The profile of the tires, which refers to the height of the tire's sidewall, is always expressed as a clean number without a unit of measurement as it is a percentage of the width. For example, a tire with a size of 100/90 has a width of 100mm and a profile of 90, which means it has a profile of 100 x 0.90 = 90mm.
The load index and speed index are two other important characteristics of tires. Specifically, the load index is the maximum load under which the tires are expected to function properly and is described by an integer that corresponds to kilograms, while the speed index is the maximum speed under which the tires are expected to function properly and is described by a letter from the English alphabet that corresponds to kilometers per hour. It should be noted that the maximum weight, to which the load index corresponds, is reported per tire.
Note: The maximum weight increases proportionally with the load index number, meaning that the larger the number, the greater the maximum operating weight of the tire. Similarly, the maximum speed increases as the letter of the speed index "increases", meaning that the speed index "J" corresponds to a lower speed than that of the "S" index.
In this case, the tire is 68P, meaning that the load index and speed index are 68 and P respectively.

In the Beverly 400 HPE that I installed them, I was blown away...
The tires are incredibly good. I put them on a sym symphony st 200i and it completely changed its behavior. You feel safety and confidence. At first, until they break in during the first kilometers, they are a bit strange due to the V crown, but after that, they exude a sense of security on the road. I would put them on again.
Excellent. They offer precision in steering, impeccable braking in dry conditions, and predictability in wet conditions. 3500 km so far and you don't feel any wear, the feeling is like the first day they were installed.
Worn for a year on SYM GTS F4.
Mixed impressions from this specific tire.
I had heard great things and I went and put them on without a second thought.
In the first few days, I was impressed by how fast it corners and how easily the bike leans compared to before.
However, in the first rain when I needed them, I was sliding all over the place in an abrupt stop in Thebes, and luckily I found space to stop as I was skidding.
Also, recently in light rain, I started with half throttle at a traffic light and the bike was fishtailing, something I didn't expect from tires with 3,000 km on them.
In dry turns, they perform very well and grip, but the front tire makes quite a bit of rolling noise.
For the next change, I will probably go for Pirelli.
The scooter is a Beverly 300 with a 16-inch front wheel and a 14-inch rear wheel. Compared to the city grip 1 and 2 that I have tried, I prefer the roadtec. Its use is mainly urban, on the outskirts of Thessaloniki and uphill and downhill in Filirou. Those who live in Thessaloniki understand. I have had them since 31/8/23 and have done about 3000 kilometers so far. Currently, the scooter turns better, brakes better, and has better behavior on uneven asphalt. My wife says she feels better in terms of vibrations when sitting behind. As for the tire's performance over time, I have nothing to say. It is too early for such conclusions. I will also put them on the second scooter of the family, which has 16-inch wheels both front and rear, is lighter than the Beverly, and has more cubic capacity and horsepower, and I will come back with a new evaluation. Health to everyone and always stay upright.
Guys, the tire is TOP ... !!! I put it on a sym cruisym 250 scooter, the tire is durable, it warms up easily, perfect for braking and handles turns effortlessly. It's amazing, I had heard and read about it being the best, and I made a mistake by putting the michelin city grip 2 two years ago. It was good for the first 6 months, but then it made you doubt whether it would stop or if you could take a turn without wasting money... This year, I changed and put the Metzeler tires, and I don't think I will change to another brand again. I highly recommend it without a second thought, it's the best tire ever!
I have put them on my 10" Daytona cargo wheels, perfect tire in all conditions...(distributor) 25,000 km and now I will change them and of course I will put the same ones again! For safety, I will change them because winter is coming to have my mind at ease.
Great difference from the previous ones in comfort in small potholes and especially in turns with low or high speed...... Very good performance in braking.......
Impressions after 2 years of use.
Purchased on 27.07.2021. I put them on a 2019 HONDA FORZA 300, front and rear. Until the first 7000 km, the tires were fantastic. They were quite stable on curved roads, with one or two people, in both dry and wet conditions. On a trip at speeds of 120 - 130 km/h, they were very comfortable and stable. With this set, I have already covered 12,000 km. They have started to slip without being worn out enough. Especially on wet roads in the city, they require attention and not to put too much strain on the motorcycle, which has a traction control system (TCS).
I wore them on HD300 after the factory Maxis tires after 3500km.
The difference was chaotic.
I went straight for a 400km trip with mountainous twisties and a little bit of highway, and I couldn't believe that my scooter could turn and brake in such a capable and enjoyable way.
I haven't ridden them in wet conditions yet, so I don't know how they will hold up over time and mileage.
Therefore, I regret not putting them on earlier and I recommend them to anyone interested in putting them on yesterday.
I also consider them to be among the first "top-notch" tires for scooters that have been manufactured so far
Very reliable tires, I had them on my sym mx 150 and even after three years I wasn't afraid to take turns and they had very good braking, I highly recommend them without hesitation!
I changed tires two days ago. I see a big difference compared to the previous ones. Very good grip and overall good tires. They don't slip on a wet road. I am very satisfied. Different road behavior. I will buy them again if needed...!! I will prefer them again. I am satisfied.
Very stable grip even on very bad road surface. I have been wearing them for two months and they haven't slipped at all. I tested them on a turn at a speed of 60km/h and they immediately returned to the road because they touched the double line. Very quick recovery in turns and immediate response to changes in direction!
It hasn't even been 2 hours since I bought them, and they immediately lost a star, purely based on their price. For the past 15 years, I had Dunlop, Michelin, and Metzeler. The Metzeler tires were superior to Dunlop and Michelin, and I say superior because after 10,000 km, the Dunlop and Michelin tires needed to be replaced, while the Metzeler tires showed no signs of slipping even after 10,000 km. Additionally, they were very cheap. I bought them for 90 euros on Acharnon Street in Athens. Because I was very satisfied, I wanted to put the same Metzeler Feel Free tires on again, but they told me that this model doesn't exist anymore, so I ended up getting whatever Metzeler tires they had. Needless to say, they asked me for 150 euros, and they have already lost a star in terms of their price. I will come back and update once I see how they perform in the winter. They are installed on a Honda SH 150i scooter. I have 100/80/16 on the front and 120/80/16 on the back
I installed them on an Aprilia SR MAX. They are superior to the Pirelli Angel tires I had before, while giving the impression that the scooter is more sturdy. I will come back in the future regarding their durability. Overall, however, it is the best tire I have placed on a scooter until today.

Fast delivery, heats up quickly, I have been wearing it for a week, very positive impressions!
New tires were installed on the Kymco Xciting 300. From 2000 km, they started to slide excessively on dry roads. Even more so on wet roads. The worst tires I could have put on this scooter. I switched from Michelin City Grip to Metzeler. The Michelins had better grip and traction. In other words, dangerous tires. I have had them for 4000 km and I am already looking for the next ones to replace the Metzelers
After the first 500 kilometers, I can only have a positive opinion about the installation on the sym joymax z... time will tell if it will remain or excellent performance.
I have been wearing them for about a month now.
Before, I had the Pirelli Angel.
So far, very good impressions!!
