From this specific company, I have bought two leashes and both were excellent. The first one lasted for 4 years (my previous ones lasted up to 1.5 years because my dog pulls a lot) and the mechanism did not break, but the leash got caught and ripped, which was more my own fault. Therefore, I highly recommend it and if you have the opportunity, get the one with the fluorescent leash so that the dog is visible everywhere!
