Richard Bach, the author of the famous book "Jonathan Livingston Seagull", returns after years of absence with an interesting novel centered around his favorite theme: the realization of our dreams and desires. His protagonist is once again someone who loves flying, not a seagull this time, but a human being.

Jamie Forbes, an experienced pilot who teaches aircraft navigation, manages to help a woman land a Cessna even though she doesn't know how to fly. Inspired by this incident, and while various "coincidences" puzzle him, Jamie wonders about the nature of reality and the power of our thoughts to manifest it, "hypnotizing" ourselves and others with the assumptions imposed by our culture, our era, and the fearful part of our human nature. By reversing the process and awakening, Jamie concludes and realizes practically that the fears and limitations that keep us bound to matter are lifted, and we are set free.
