The environmental aesthetics, either under its cognitive approach or under its emotional one, sets a new form of a universal truth that concerns not only human interventions, but the whole human condition, the presence of life on earth, the evolution of species, geological changes and the functioning of ecosystems. Environmental aesthetics comes to include the reading of a whole. It is imbued with the need for a scientifically and practically grounded approach, so that all kinds of environmental problems related to the depletion and alteration of natural resources, as well as biodiversity, can be read. However, beyond the regulatory convention of an approach imbued with a technocratic perspective and cognitive certainty, imagination, emotion, various degrees of dialectical practices and cultural entanglements construct a networked and dense mesh of processes of reading, approach, perception and conceptualization of environmental aesthetics. Between technocratic knowledge and creative imagination, there is an intermediate, freer, open and creative way of perceiving environmental aesthetics.
Unfortunately, ecological truths have not been transformed within societies into definable situations of a densifying truth that clarifies the consequences of using technology, and practices devoid of self-awareness have been put into operation, while in the face of the ecological destruction of ecosystems, we continue to prioritize short-term issues of economic profitability and specialized indicators of productive development. It is time to reconsider the interpretive character of the human-machine relationship and to mitigate the unspoken intensity of exploitative activities with exclusive economic benefit and absolute indifference to the quality of life in societies. Therefore, the meaningful morphicity of exploitation is exhausted in the exclusivity of securing profit, and fields of exclusively economic exploitation are problematized. In this context, the situation that has been depicted so far concerns the fact that, given the overpopulation and the increase in needs for food, energy, and communication, more than half of the ecosystems have been altered or used outside a framework of sustainability.
