I was a former owner of a PS4 Slim. A very good console I must say. But as for this little monster, there is nothing like it. Combined with Game Pass, it elevates the experience. I play Forza Horizon 5, FIFA, Call of Duty, GTA, RDR 2, Fortnite with perfect quality and graphics. The console suited me perfectly since I don't have 4k, but even without it, it's perfect. Now for those who want something more, go for PS5 or Xbox Series X. But for the money it costs, it is the best in the world!!!! If you have to choose between PS4 or Xbox Series S, go with Xbox Series S with your eyes closed!!!!!
The best value for money I got before. A year and a half and it is still like new. Also, the Playstation 5 for me is worse than the Xbox Series S because the 5 has 200-300 euros more because it has more space which if you have many games and it is useful the 5 which I don't think is needed for the simple 8k that will be needed in 10 years and blue ray which as time goes by is not needed for example the xbox continues to offer without game pass in games over 60 euros from 60-70% up to 90% just perfect
Honest, affordable, small and with 4K. Even for Netflix, YouTube connected to the TV, it's worth its money. It also has free games.
After many years of abstaining from gaming, I wanted something affordable to start with. I thought I would compromise on graphics with the Series S, but I have been very satisfied. As for the gamepass, I want it to replace my Netflix subscription and not bother with looking for game deals and making further purchases. On the downside, the device's storage space (which I already have an external SSD for) and the fact that the controller does not have rechargeable batteries (which is not a big deal compared to others). For anyone who hasn't invested in a good gaming PC, I believe it is a very good alternative
It is my first console, I have had it for 1 year and I have to say that it is incredible. I dare to say that I like it more than the Playstation, in my opinion.
After years of using the PS, this is the best thing for its money, the game pass has many options and overall the console is amazing!
I would give it a 4.5 because it lacks durability and is overpriced for what it's worth. After 4 hours of gameplay, it shuts down due to overheating
Having the console for about 1 year, I have to say that I was a previous owner of the original fat Xbox One from 2013 and also the Xbox 360, so I have some experience with Microsoft consoles as well as PlayStation consoles. Firstly, I have to clearly state from the beginning the following: personally, I do not regret my purchase even though I gave it 3 stars, and I will explain why below. Overall, I am satisfied with what this small console can do for 300 euros. I believe that if someone is considering buying this console today, they should be aware of some significant flaws that it has, which I did not see anyone else mention in the reviews. The console had many issues from the beginning with both games and software. Specifically, for a long period of time, it would cut off the sound from the games due to the quick resume feature, and you had to unplug and replug the cable to solve the problem. Microsoft eventually fixed this issue, but after about 2.5 years, I also encountered this problem, and it was extremely frustrating. Another serious issue that still exists today and I occasionally encounter is that the console crashes during games and takes you back to the dashboard. This happens because the Xbox Series S has less VRAM than the Xbox Series X. This is a very serious issue, as users report constant crashes in more demanding games such as Alan Wake 2 and Starfield. Personally, I experienced this in Alan Wake 2, where it crashed about 25 times before I finished it. Microsoft has not yet solved this problem, and I am concerned about the future when new games will be even more demanding. Unless Microsoft does something to fix the issue, there will be a serious problem with this console. Personally, I also had crashes in other games, but less frequently. For example, I had 1 crash in Robocop and 2 crashes in Steelrising. I should mention here, to be fair, that I also had crashes on the PS4 and PS4 Pro in many games, but they were usually isolated cases and were patched later on. Despite the negatives, such as the small hard drive, I would recommend this console to someone who mainly has digital games and wants access to games from both Xbox One and Xbox 360. However, I would not recommend it to someone who wants to play the new games that will be released from now on.
The console, guys, is simply TOP. I don't know how they managed to fit so much power into such an elegant and minimal console. The size is simply wonderful, beautiful, next-gen performance for only 250-300€, a huge library of games with many exclusives that the competitor envies, 60-120 fps, which you need the appropriate screen/TV to understand, obviously. The lack of a disc drive doesn't bother me, and it shouldn't bother anyone, I believe, since Game Pass gives you everything. Besides Game Pass, the Microsoft store has bigger discounts than the stores, so no problem. The storage is okay, a bit limited, but with an external HDD, if you want to have many games, you download them there and when you want to play one, you transfer it to the SSD. You transfer it within 5 minutes since it takes much less time than installing it from scratch, and you're done. Quiet, doesn't get too hot, always within reasonable limits if you play for many hours, obviously it doesn't freeze, everything runs instantly and smoothly. The controller is wonderful, as Microsoft has accustomed us to, and upgraded from the Xbox One. All in all, if you don't want to spend a lot of money and you're not the most hardcore gamer, get it
It is a very good console, not only for its price. The only negative is the limited space, that's why four stars
I have had the console for a year. Quality-wise and functionally, it is flawless so far. The graphics and sound are amazing, the controller is comfortable and durable (the removable battery charges with a cable while you play, I bought two for 25€), and you can find support through chat whenever you need it. With the game pass, you can always find a gem, considering the variety given the way gaming has evolved today (for example, there is no longer a GOOD football game, but that is a general issue). In terms of exclusives, it might lag behind compared to other platforms, but it compensates for it by always having competitive and popular games on the game pass (like GTA V, Dead Space, and its own Starfield, Forza Motor, and future Activision games), making the console + subscription combination a great value for money. I also added a simple external HDD and I'm loving it. In summary, it is worth its money, you have everything with good performance.
+ It has never frozen on me, it has quick resume, it has a browser for online streaming movies, and overall, with a keyboard and mouse, it functions like a computer. There are frequent discounts in the store and plenty of opportunities in the key stores.
- The X/S can only be played from the internal disk (360GB clean), on the external one, they can only be stored and you have to transfer them
The console is top-notch.... I've been a lifetime PlayStation user... And I decided to try an Xbox.... It simply doesn't exist!!! Especially with the game pass where you have everything for free...!! And it's very small in size (A SMALL MONSTER) What can I say... GET IT WITH CLOSED EYES!

I bought the Christmas 2021 console as an upgrade from my old Xbox One S console. It was truly a significant upgrade from the old one, and so far it runs perfectly and I play on it often.
Something that didn't exist back then was the 1TB version. I would recommend the 1TB version in black for purchase because modern games require a lot of space and 512GB is simply too little.
Owner of all the Xbox consoles from OG to Series X, and former owner of the PS5. The console doesn't lack in anything... it runs everything perfectly, has quick resume, and it's so small and convenient that you can take it wherever you want. It's definitely worth it for a casual gamer. The only downside is the storage space if you want to have 10 downloaded games simultaneously. With Game Pass, you're a king.
The best choice for 300€. However, I would recommend adding an extra 50€ and getting the black version or whichever one has 1tb of storage space
Upgrade from Xbox One Digital, at 256€. These series are the best value for money in gaming. Combined with Game Pass for 15€/month, the value of the console is skyrocketing, because you can play the games on your computer as well. I mainly play games from the Game Pass, it has excellent games (yes, a bit older or not so popular) but I'm not that much of a power gamer. I have spent a lot of time playing Assassin's Creed, Halo, and many others at different times.
I have a Panasonic TX-48LZ800E, gaming is a pleasure with satisfactory graphics performance.
The design of the device is beautiful with small dimensions, it reminds me of a speaker, it fits everywhere.
The plastic of the controller is a bit hard, but I believe it will withstand drops. It is also important to note that the battery is sold separately, meaning +20-25€ extra, otherwise you play with AA batteries (1 set included in the package).
The most significant downside is the disk capacity, unfortunately, with 3-4 top-notch games, it will fill up. You can buy an external hard drive as an extra.
The Xbox is perfect. The only disadvantage is that it doesn't have much storage space. The advantages are countless. It is small and fits everywhere. It has countless games, it is cheap, better than the playstation, it doesn't use cartridges, you can download the games, and the playstation plus is more expensive than the game pass, and many other countless advantages. Overall, it is definitely worth its money
So I also got the Series S to play on the TV with gamepass games. I have played everything from Halo Infinite to indie games. I see how well some companies have optimized the games, so you have to look for imperfections and still struggle, for me it's ideal! and at a very good price especially if you find it on sale or used in good condition. Only an external disk for CDs/DVDs brought to us by Microsoft later and I would give it 10 stars.

Bought here for 2 years and it's time for me to make my own review. The Xbox Series S is an excellent proposition for those looking for an affordable solution for next-gen gaming. Its small form makes it ideal for those with limited space. However, the lack of a DVD player and the limited storage space of 512GB may be an issue for some.
The positives are:
Xbox Game Pass, the subscription service offers access to a large collection of games as you can enjoy many games without buying titles separately. Compatibility with Previous Titles: The Xbox Series S is compatible with games from previous Xbox generations.
Quick Resume. It allows for switching between games in no time.
Lastly, it supports ray tracing technology. It may be entry-level since game resolutions are native 1080p, but it still adds an extra level of detail to the image.
If you are looking for an affordable alternative for casual gaming, the Xbox Series S is an excellent choice.
I bought it 5 months ago its been the best purchase I've ever purchased from skroutz so far it has a wide variety of games and the graphics look amazing on a 4k uhd tv overall ive been playing some games and i have to say it is worth its money and i recommend you guys try it out
An excellent choice for the money you spend. From September, it will also be available with a 1TB disk, but it will be 100€ more expensive. I bought it this July on sale for 259€ mainly to play Starfield in combination with Game Pass. This particular game crashed frequently at first, but it was a software and quick resume issue. With continuous updates, the problem was resolved, so it's not the console's fault.
...edit... After 5 months of use, I am very satisfied with the console. For someone who wants to play 5-6 games per period, the disk space is sufficient. It is important to also purchase the charging adapter for the controller (20€ for the genuine Microsoft one) because it's not cost-effective to keep changing batteries.
Well, it's a top console for 2023.
Positives:
It runs games with great ease, comes with a new feature that allows for quick start of the games you were playing and leaves you where you were. Another nice feature that applies to both series consoles is the graphic upscale, which is an upgrade to the game graphics and shows you with a sign in the top left corner of each game and informs you if it is optimized for better frames and graphics. It runs digital upscale 4k and 120fps (depending on the screen you have and what it supports) with 8 GB of RAM, flawlessly running all the games you put it to run.
Negatives:
Unfortunately, in order to come out as a budget option for the Microsoft family, some features that are considered must-haves in 2023 were cut. Such as the CD disc slot for physical games and another one, the storage... 500 GB, BUT you can only use about 360-380 GB of that space, which is a bit low, although you can of course increase it with Seagate cards only. For now, it is expensive and the 500 GB can be found at a hundred bucks, but there are announcements for cheaper options in the coming months.
It is value for money, worth it. So far, I have played Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Forza, Gears 5, Sea of Thieves, GTA5, and I haven't experienced any crashes in any game. Even Valhalla plays very well
Relatively cheap for a next-gen console that competes with triple-priced computers. It has very nice features.
Positives:
+ Easy to transport and place due to its small size
+ Low power consumption compared to the Series X and PS5
+ Very good for 1080p resolution (I don't have a 2K resolution, so I can't comment on that)
+ Very quiet
+ No issues with temperatures
+ If you have a subscription, you have access to 300+ games
+ Plays normally with the Series X as it is in the same ecosystem. Also, some games have crossplay, so they can be played with other consoles, but this varies from game to game.
+ The games are extremely optimized and I haven't experienced any stutter or issues so far. For example, when we were playing Sea of Thieves, the kids on the computer were complaining about frame drops at one point, which I didn't experience. And in the case of other games that freeze on very expensive computers and have problems with it, you won't see them.
+ If you have another Xbox One controller, it works fine and you don't need to buy a new one.
+ It has a quick-play function where games load very quickly from where you left off (something that computers and PlayStation don't have for now)
Mixed:
- Requires a monthly subscription to play multiplayer games (to play with others online)
- The ultimate subscription I use costs 12-13 euros per month.
Negatives:
- Small storage space (personally, I have 4 games in it, but the size of the games increases, so you will have 2-6 games depending on the GB size of the games you want). If you think you want to have a large library ready to play, go for the more expensive consoles or wait for the 1TB version and see what suits you financially at that time.
- It doesn't have a disc drive, so whatever you buy will be online. From Microsoft or something on Eneba.
- The image quality has some differences compared to the more expensive consoles, but it's not huge.
Let's say if I gave an example, I would say that this is on high with anti-aliasing *2, while one of the other consoles is on ultra with anti-aliasing *6.
If you have Full HD, you know that you want to play 1-3 games for periods, you want variety, you want something that is easily portable or doesn't take up much space, you like nice graphics but more importantly, you want to play with friends or some next-gen games, then this console is for you.
Purchased in October 2022. I decided to buy the Xbox Series S to play casually, as I am no longer a kid, so I wouldn't consider myself a hardcore gamer.
I always had a Sony PlayStation, but I decided to get the Xbox Series S because the PS5 would be too much for me.
I can say that I was pleasantly surprised because it is a little beast!
The console is small, quiet, beautiful, and plays all games perfectly.
It has fast loading times thanks to the SSD and excellent responsiveness in the menu.
Personally, I play Overwatch 2 and I can say that at 1080p, it easily reaches 60fps.
Also, with the activation of Game Pass, you can play a huge variety of games. The only downside here is the storage space if someone wants to play 5 games simultaneously.
In conclusion, it is a highly value for money console that will impress you from the first encounter.
If you are not hardcore gamers or nitpickers about graphics, go ahead with closed eyes and you won't regret it!
For purely casual users or for children, it is good. If you want something more, like playing next-gen games with at least 60 frames and 1080 resolution, it's better to get a more powerful console or PC. The S/S probably doesn't have the hardware to do the above, especially in open-world next-gen games. It also requires extra storage space, which is very expensive, 512GB for 150€, 1TB for 250€.
It was purchased about a year ago. I can say that the console is very good for its price, definitely value for money. However, the system has some bugs, as it has kicked me out of Valhalla a couple of times, in Fortnite it doesn't let me talk (I don't know if this is due to the system), sometimes when I turn on the controller the light flashes and the console freezes until I unplug it and plug it back in. Although some of these may seem very annoying to some, the truth is that it's not that bad, as with updates, the latest bug (the one with the light) has been fixed with the latest update (at least for me). In terms of game performance, it does at least what it promises. I have played Assassins Creed Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla, Unity, FIFA 22, Fortnite, High on Life, Forza Horizon, eFootball23, and more. Only Valhalla had some minor issues, but they were relatively insignificant. Also, something that many ignore and don't consider as an important advantage of the series x/s is the existence of Quick Resume. With this feature, you can put a game in quick resume and turn off the console. When you turn it back on and enter the game, the game will open in 2-10 seconds! And you'll continue from where you left off when you closed it! So, you get rid of the two-minute loading times, something that, having gotten used to quick resume, annoys me. It's definitely a pretty good value for money console, and it's a "cheap" way to start gaming in 2023.
Before the Xbox Series S, I had a PS4 Pro for a year. I decided to make this change because the PS4 was starting to freeze. I've had the Xbox Series S for about 4 months now and I've enjoyed it. It's a very fast console and for its price, it's worth every penny!
