It is the first cup I have used and even on the days with heavier flow, it is the most convenient thing! At first, there is some insecurity, but you really appreciate the 8 hours that it covers you without worry!
The Lybera was my first menstrual cup - I got it at 17 and for the flow I had back then, it was a miracle. Now at 22, with a significantly heavier flow and different time demands, I have found solace with the merula xl. However, for young girls with relatively low flow, the Lybera is very decent - a much safer solution than a tampon, both in terms of hygiene and frequency of 'accidents'. It has a relatively low capacity, so this may be prohibitive for women with heavy flow.
Note that I had changed 4 - 5 cups until I found the most suitable one for my body, so if it's the first time you're trying a menstrual cup, there is a chance you won't find the ideal one immediately. However, don't be discouraged, with a few trials and some learning time, you will definitely find the right one!
I still struggle with learning how to remove it...
