In no way is it 1080 quality, the image quality is very low, the result is like watching from a CRT VHS tape. The microphone quality is also (tape recorder quality), although no one has complained about it for calls. I mainly wanted it for Windows Hello, which works fine, but as a camera it is much worse than the one I wanted to replace (a Logitech model from the 720s decade, which surprisingly still sells for twice the price).
For a camera for video calls at work, where we mainly speak with the cameras closed, and for Windows Hello for face recognition, it is worth the money, but if someone is interested in image quality, then no.
