The second hand indicator finds in the glass lid at certain points, resulting in a faint "grinding" sound. The only solution I finally did was to open it and cut about 2 centimeters from the second hand indicator. Now it works perfectly.

The mechanism was not quiet from the beginning and after two months it started making more noise than other conventional/cheap watches. I put a soft material behind the mechanism to make it sound less.
When I take it off the wall and lay it horizontally, it doesn't make as much noise... I did this many nights to be able to sleep.
It stops working completely from time to time. I changed the battery, of course... a few days ago it lost a whole hour within a day and I randomly heard it making a lot of noise and the hand spinning backwards for a while.
If I judge from other people's comments, I ended up with a defective one;; :/
