I bought it used from a well-known chain for 95 euros (they said the LEDs don't work, it has a zipper tear, and the box is in poor condition). There was no tear and the LEDs were working, but it was full of cat hair and debris between the cracks.
I am 183 cm tall, 86 kg. My comments and rating are for the used chair.
Negatives:
Shallow cushions, so besides being relatively "hard" compared to other seats, it lacks the feeling of a body-hugging bucket.
It is not sturdy at all, you pull from the back and the backrest and seat wobble, with some play to the right and left.
Something that might be related to it being used is that the piston, seat, and backrest are not balanced and are slightly crooked. I spent a lot of time trying to balance it in all areas, but I couldn't because either the previous owner messed it up or it is a manufacturing defect. I think my body will get misaligned with prolonged use.
The armrests are too far out, away from the sides, and they become uncomfortable after prolonged use.
Positives:
The LED lights are strong and have beautiful colors, with the controller easily changing for more options. A controller with a power supply of 5-24v can be used for direct connection to 2+ cells (18650 or Li-poly) without needing an expensive power bank with a 3A output. I suspect that the existing controller also supports 5-24v, and with cutting and changing the USB, a DC power jack can be installed.
The fabric it has is preferable to the "fake" leather used in cheaper options.
The reclining backrest and seat make it more comfortable.
The armrests are adjustable in height.
Conclusion:
It doesn't suit me and the crooked backrest, seat, and piston are definitely to blame, which are probably due to the previous user, as well as the shallow cushions provided by the manufacturer.
It is suitable for watching movies in a reclined position, but not for working for many hours.
I might return it, but I doubt there are good options at this price range.
For comparison, I have the ADX Race19 that I use elsewhere, and it is very comfortable for prolonged use.
Update:
I went and tried other chairs in a store. Most of them in the 220 and below price range have a similar design and are uncomfortable. A Razer chair priced at 350 was comfortable, while a Razer chair priced at 220 was almost the same in terms of the frame as this one and equally uncomfortable in terms of the cushions. I will keep it since I spoke with the store to replace the piston, which is covered by warranty. For the money I bought it, I definitely can't find anything close to its quality. But from what I understand, gaming chairs generally lack comfort and body support, except for the very expensive ones that are ergonomic. It's the second day today and I'm getting used to it a bit, so it's not as uncomfortable as the first day.
