The problematic updates seem to have been fixed and the excitement is once again painted on my face!!!
The Greek community has now released many Greek airports, and they are free too!!!
Also, the liveries for the A320neo are constantly updated and include Aegean, Ellinair & RyanAir (with a little searching on Google, you will find the page where you can download everything!!!)
With a little searching, you can also find professional upgrades for the default A320neo & 747-8 for free!!!
What I strongly miss is a quality 737 :-)

I bought it on the release day. The box is beautiful and includes 10 DVDs, the activation key, the warranty, and the instruction book. Overall, it took me 2.5 to 3 hours for the basic installation with a conventional DVD drive. Then I activated FS through the Windows 10 Store using the provided activation key, and again from the Store, I installed the Launcher. Through the Launcher, I ran FS and it started the 16GB worth of updates. After the updates were completed (which, for some reason, would close FS and I had to reopen it to continue the updates. Obviously, it had to close because it was updating critical directories), FS was ready for setup and flights!
It has many settings, a beautiful and user-friendly menu, and clear.

Things that IMPRESSED me:

1. The graphics. I have never seen such a graphics mechanism in a simulator before, and I was truly impressed. The land is simulated very close to reality, and it feels like you are actually flying over that specific area. The fields, the villages, the cities, they are all there. However, I couldn't find my own house, for example, or the White Tower in Thessaloniki is just a round building. It comes very close to reality but not 100% accurate.

2. The sea. The waves and the colors and shades of the sea currents are so real!

3. The weather phenomena are simply incredible!!! The clouds are so real. The wind has substance and it moves the trees and the grass!!!! The thunderstorms, the sounds of thunder, the lightning, passing through the clouds, the colors of the sky and the clouds, everything is amazing! Incredible work! And you can adjust all of these or choose live weather conditions!

4. The variety of aircraft, from small ones to the Airbus A320 & Boeing 747. The work they have done on the Airbus A320 & Boeing 747 is decent. They still need work, but it's OK. They come close to premium aircraft like PMDG, but only close. There are now many liveries that you can easily install with a little searching. There is also the new AEGEAN livery on the A320 Neo.

5. The ATC is very decent. I have already made flights from Athens to Thessaloniki and vice versa, and everything worked smoothly.

6. The live traffic is unbelievable!!! It places traffic as it is in reality, and you hear real call signs and flight numbers on the ATC! Revolution!

7. It has an excellent helpful checklist that shows you which buttons to press to start the aircraft, and it has ground services that make the whole experience even more fun.

8. The sound in general. The aircraft, the environment, the wind, the sea... Wow!!!

9. The performance optimizations they have made are EXCEPTIONAL.

With the system:

I have set it to ULTRA settings with maximum anti-aliasing. Throughout Greece, I get a minimum of 30 FPS in large airports like Athens with a 747, and up to 60 FPS in flight with smaller aircraft like Cessna. Whether it runs at 30 FPS or higher, the experience is perfectly smooth. Even in other countries with higher demands, I get around 25-30 FPS, but still, it gives you the impression of smooth movement. The difficulty increases in very heavy areas like New York, where I have to lower the settings to High for a decent 25+ FPS experience.

Additionally, to my great surprise, I noticed that no matter what weather conditions are loaded, whether clear, with many clouds, storms and rain, or snow, the FPS remains stable! They do not decrease! Incredible work here too! Bravo to them!! Also, the weather and time can change in real-time without needing to restart the flight.

10. Bandwidth requirements. I have ADSL with a real speed of 12Mbps. I have not encountered any delays or distortions in Greek airspace. Everything loads perfectly! The only time I experienced low bandwidth error was in New York when flying low near the skyscrapers.

Things I didn't like and need improvement:

1. The loading speed until you enter the main menu. It initially displays many intros and searches for updates, so it takes time to get to the menu. Of course, you get used to this.

2. The nighttime environment could use some improvements. Especially at high altitudes.

3. Setting up the joystick is a bit of a headache. I have the Ravcore Javelin, which is not recognized, so I had to set it up myself. However, now it works perfectly.

In conclusion, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is perhaps the biggest revolution in the world of simulators! I have fallen in love with it and I recommend it to all simulator enthusiasts!!!

Certainly it is a small revolution in graphics. However, compared to fsx, X-Plane 11, with their Add-ons, the differences are very small. Certainly, Microsoft has shown special attention to the airports and planes of each version, but in all other aspects there are no significant differences. Personally, I believe that paying 60 euros for 10 additional airports is too much.
I am looking forward to seeing the prices of the add-ons they will release. Personally, I believe that for starters they will be expensive.
