Simos Souliotis is a man filled with cynicism, who at the age of 35 spends his life in alcohol and cigarettes in the dark bars of Athens, while occasionally working at the research office of a retired private detective.

His life will be overturned and threatened from one moment to the next, when he finds himself, in the heart of winter, trapped in Adera, a mountain village somewhere in eastern Peloponnese, for the seemingly easy case of a missing teenage girl.

But nothing is as it seems... And as its residents appear friendly to his face, they hide a deadly and dangerous secret that will lead Simos into a suffocating trap, putting his life - and not only - in danger.

As he confronts his inner demons and his deep darkness, as his memories of the past awaken with every step, he discovers that the darkness and demons in Adera are much more dangerous, threatening, and beyond reason...

And as the snow falls heavily over the mysterious village, Simos becomes trapped in it and its strange inhabitants, unable to escape in any way, sinking deeper and deeper into the web of a chilling case that will lead him to a dead end.
