  I got it for my 6-year-old niece because she wanted to experience the CD. At least that's what she told me.
  I searched everywhere and it was the only one at a reasonable price.
  She really liked it when she saw it.
  I showed her how it works and she understood it immediately. The sound is clear, it's great.
  She has put it next to her bed on the nightstand and she listens to her music in the evening while playing or reading a book.
  What else does someone want when they receive a gift than to find a place for it and enjoy it! It's worth the money!

As for the flashing lights, they are quite impressive but if they bother you, there is a way to turn them off. My daughter discovered it by chance.
