Fixie Farr has grown up with her father's motto Above all, family. But since he passed away, she has been running the family business on her own while her siblings laze around.

One day, in a café, a stranger asks her to keep an eye on his laptop for a moment, and she not only pays attention to it but also saves it from certain destruction. The man, who introduces himself as Seb, to show his gratitude, signs a statement that he owes her a favor. Fixie takes it as a joke; after all, she would never ask him for anything. Right?

At some point, however, her childhood love, Ryan, who has become unemployed, reenters her life. Then Fixie, who wanted nothing for herself, asks Seb to give him a job. Now, they owe each other favors, and so the story goes. How will it all end?

An enjoyable story about a complicated family, a man who might be the ideal one, and a girl who has a knack for fixing everything but... struggles to fix her own life.
