I found it on sale during the summer, sealed in its box, so I chose it. I don't think it's worth a thousand euros for a non-S series lens. Around 700 euros is a decent proposal, as it is ideal for an all-around lens for travel. You forget about the hassle with its excellent focal length of 24-200mm. It produces nice, clean images on my Z5. It also has an ideal weight balance on the camera body, without being tiring, and simultaneously provides a nice feel with its compact size without being obtrusive. At night, you are forced to increase the ISO due to its narrow aperture, which starts at 6.3f and goes up from around 80 millimeters. This is one of its downsides, along with the lack of an A-f M-f switch, which is present in the excellent Z 24-120 S f4 lens. Additionally, compared to the aforementioned lens in the S series, the simple 24-200 lens produces slightly more noise (digital grain) in low-light shots, which I also consider reasonable and expected. Since I have both lenses and since many people will surely face the dilemma of which one to choose for travel as a complete option, I believe that the 24-200 lens is more in line with my tastes and desires. Also, since the Z5 has an excellent built-in stabilization system, I can take advantage of it by using extremely low shutter speeds of 1/10, 1/6, 1/3 seconds, while keeping the ISO as low as possible. Okay, it's not a bright lens and it's not suitable for action, but for static subjects, it performs perfectly well, even in low-light conditions, which is a given for daily use. Another drawback is slight vignetting at the telephoto end of 200mm, which is not present in the S lens under any circumstances. In conclusion, it is an ideal lens for travel with impeccable image quality. For demanding users, it doesn't make sense, just like the Z5, which I believe they would have chosen a more expensive model in the series. For the hobbyist traveler who wants exceptional full-frame images, this lens is one that should be considered without any fears in their choice. That's it, I hope I helped future buyers...
