Description

Loaded with the experience of the Korean War, and with one hand less, Frank will return to his hometown, somewhere in rural America. Without illusions about life, but with the desire for a fresh start that is revitalized by contact with his loved ones. Then, a series of gruesome murders that occur in the area will draw suspicion upon him: the victims are all women with whom he had a romantic relationship in the past.

Boris Vian wrote a summary and the first four chapters of "You Can't Escape". Oulipo, the Workshop of Potential Literature - a group of French writers who, since the 1960s, have made many ingenious experiments within a playful conception of literature - continued and completed Vian's unfinished project. The result is an enjoyable noir novel with the typical characteristics of the genre and in line with the works that the author of "Froth on the Daydream" has signed as Vernon Sullivan.
