Same as FIFA 20 with some changes in the menu and career mode. For those considering buying FIFA 22, it's better to buy this one. It's not worth its money. Initially, it had some bugs but they were overcome with some updates
A mediocre FIFA in terms of gameplay, but the career mode has been greatly improved compared to last year. If you want to buy a cheap game, I would recommend you to save those 20€ and somehow add another 30€ to get FIFA 22 instead
As I did with FIFA 20, I expected this one to drop to $10 before buying it from the PS Store. It proved to be a wise move. EA's goal is to destroy the reputation it has maintained over the years. Releasing the same game twice for $45 is unacceptable. With minor changes in passing, shooting, and player size, now you get red cards for the slightest thing, the same goes for penalties. I noticed that if you have a player with an overall rating of 90+ and know a few simple dribbles, the opponent's defense is doomed, just like the goalkeeper who is helpless against a finesse shot in the corner. Goals from outside the penalty area have become child's play. I have been a FIFA fan since 14, and so far, I believe this FIFA is EA's biggest disappointment. P.S. PES, however, is still worse!
Positives (compared to FIFA 20):
1) Improved passing
2) More natural player movement
3) Less easy fouls and no red cards for minor incidents
4) Option to edit the stadium in Ultimate Team
Negatives:
1) Graphics. No substantial changes apart from haircuts and some face fixes
2) Non-existent defense. In 9 season matches, I've scored and conceded a total of 72 goals
3) Terrible Ultimate Team. I start with whatever scraps are given and the opponent's team always has a rating of 89/90. I have NEVER played with a team of similar or equal strength to mine. This, combined with the non-existent defense, almost always leads to defeats.
After sooo many years, FIFA 21 is truly disappointing.
P.S. Anyone thinking of switching to PES 2021 due to the bad reviews of FIFA should not attempt it (I did and regretted it). No matter how bad FIFA is, it will always be superior to PES.
From FIFA 20 I switched to PRO 21 purely because of its price. Now that the price of FIFA 21 has dropped, there is no issue. Compared to PRO, I find it better in terms of gameplay, but not in terms of graphics, as there could have been better work done. The players' movements have improved significantly, the defense has become a bit more challenging, but with time, you get used to it. With the modes I have dealt with, it's fine.
***A comparison regarding PRO.
The things I couldn't stand in PRO and went back to FIFA are:
1) the non-existent fouls that are constantly given
2) the players constantly colliding with each other (it may happen in FIFA as well, but within normal limits)
3) the passes constantly going under your players' feet, regardless of whether you control them or not, and I'm not talking about the case where a strong pass causes them to lose control
4) and finally, the infinite clashes that occur in the game, combined with the ball obeying its own laws.
I bought the game for around £60 for its online version, it's currently at 4/6 and in the ultimate team mode instead of rewarding us with a good player for the money we've spent, it gives us the worst available. So, I decided to delete it and go back to my favorite game
Well, here we go. First of all, I have over 1000 matches on FIFA 20 online. So, I consider myself very familiar with the pros and cons of the previous game in order to judge this year's edition. I will speak specifically about the gameplay of the 90 minutes. Not about career mode or related features. The movements are much more realistic. Much more natural. Even the net movements. The collisions between players. The movements of the players are better on the field. Especially in counterattacks, where in FIFA 20 I would get frustrated because they didn't make obvious movements. The only thing that surprises me is that they are slow to respond to controller commands. Meaning, when I press X for a pass, it won't happen instantly. But this adds realism. It shows you that it will take its steps, position its body correctly to make the movement. The same goes for shooting. But as I said, it's surprising but it adds realism. It's not arcade-like. In defense, it's harder to intercept the opponent but you get used to the new system. I believe it has received unjustifiably bad reviews. And you should know. FIFA is a game for multiplayer. It's not for single players. That's fundamental. So, that's how it should be judged. I haven't dealt with the manager mode, so I can't give an opinion on that. My opinion is purely about the 90 minutes.
I have been playing the game for a few days now and I can say that it has improved quite a few things compared to last year's FIFA 20. I got it for 20€ so for that money, it's great. I highly recommend it for the money I paid.
ORDER EVALUATION
I ordered it and it arrived immediately in 3 days, something I didn't expect much. I am very satisfied.
GAME EVALUATION - GAMEPLAY
This game is quite good, although with some mistakes during matches, but I believe that it has almost no difference from the 20 on PS4.
PRICES
Very good price compared to the PlayStation Store, as there it now costs 60 euros
Personally, I enjoy it quite often. Futsal is a fantastic addition. I like the gameplay and it has a pleasant career mode. It's worth more with an online subscription so you don't get bored of it early.
The EA has been selling a game for 60€ for the past 3 years, which has almost the same graphics as the previous one, and the only noticeable change for the player is the menu. Oh, and let's not forget about the trash community of FIFA, where if you don't play with friends and join with random people, half of them will troll you
I bought it to replace FIFA 18 that I had in previous years. I didn't have high expectations, I mainly got it for the season update after a while.
The graphics haven't improved at all from FIFA 18, I got the impression that the pitch has less detail in 21 compared to 18. I won't talk about Ultimate Team because I haven't played it at all. The career mode has some differences and small improvements, like the new simulate feature that allows you to enter the game normally.
The only major improvement I have noticed is the commentary (and the Champions League for me, coming from FIFA 18, which was in Pro back then). Now you can hear (almost) every player's name (with the English presenter, I haven't tried other languages), compared to the few names the presenter could say. Also, there are a few more expressions heard. Overall, the sound has been enriched.
I give it three stars because despite the small improvements in the game and the season update, it hasn't improved significantly in important areas (gameplay, graphics). Whether it's worth it, you'll have to decide for yourselves.
One disgust and a half. Nerve-wracking and nothing more. Since I switched to FIFA 14, it's the worst ever. Every shot is a goal from the opponent. Money wasted
The worst FIFA of all... please don't let anyone be a sucker and give their hard-earned money for it... I'm also upset that I didn't buy it on CD so I could break it! Be careful not to buy it
After 19 and 20, I believed that they had read all the reviews and learned from their mistakes... I was wrong, they didn't even fix the obvious ones.
Goalkeepers are decorative elements and the defenses are terrible, most games end with scores like 8-5, 7-4, 6-6, 8-2, etc.
The very positive thing is the rights of the teams, the organizations, and the description with the sound.
I want to clarify that I have never been attached to either Fifa or Pro. On the contrary, every year I would buy the game that I considered to be the best that year. This year, I switched to Fifa since Pro only had a season update. From the beginning, I noticed the huge problems with it (terrible defensive positioning, nonexistent goalkeepers, easy goals, "robotic" gameplay, etc.), but I decided to give it a chance. I started getting used to everything, understanding its algorithm (for example, in moments it gives you a goal if you press the right buttons), and being among the top players at one point, I overlooked all the flaws. When you're winning, it doesn't bother you as much. However, the final straw came yesterday. When I have the auto move switch assistance set to none, and I'm chasing the opponent at 85 minutes with the score tied 2-2, and it suddenly decides to change my player resulting in me conceding a goal and losing, I can't continue playing this game. And keep the word game in mind, because that's what it is. While Pro, with all its problems and imperfections, remains football. So, it's a chance for me to switch back to Pro from now on, especially since there won't be any competition next year.
One of the worst FIFA games in history, truly if you want to play ultimate team online, etc. it is one of the most toxic games and I advise you not to buy it because it causes excessive anger. If it was possible, I wouldn't even give it a star
Take another game to pass your quarantine better. I haven't played multiplayer yet, but speaking about the gameplay, you just can't defend. I have tried the ultimate k professional as a difficulty and what I will say is that the defender goes in front of the attacker and instead of taking the ball, the attacker can even shoot, not to mention that in ultimate, regardless of who has the ball, Neymar skills are acquired and every shot is a goal. I have played four matches and I want to break the controller. Well, I just updated my comment, played online now, and I really have nothing to say. I also changed the rating from 3 stars to 1. The game has become pay to win and there are really no defenses, the players you don't control just stand there like standing meats. Very bad, don't buy it if you don't want to get frustrated, etc.
Whoever wants to get the FIFA for the ultimate team, don't do this in your life, especially if you don't have a good internet connection. It's the worst thing I have ever broken, even a controller
The worst FIFA I have played. Worse every year! The worst player in your multiplayer casually scores 3-4 goals out of nowhere. I have nothing else to say. It's a waste of money!
Every year the game gets worse, I sincerely hope from the bottom of my heart that the damn company goes bankrupt. If you don't make a mistake, don't expect to enjoy it unless you're lucky enough to get 5-6 decent players. Along with the initial 70 euros (laughing), calculate another 4-5 hundred for broken controllers and TVs, otherwise throw in a thousand for FIFA points to keep your head calm. In terms of single player, finally after 6 years there have been changes, but thanks to the comically tragic gameplay, you can't enjoy them. Simply awful
