Medieval and modern texts of Greek literature have just begun to benefit from the capabilities of computers for the study of language, meter, and, in general, style. The medieval epic, or novel, of Digenis Akritis, in the form transmitted by the manuscript of the Escorial, is a key text in the development of modern Greek literature, which is why from the moment of its discovery, a century ago, it has continued to attract the interest of scholars. This Table of Contexts (concordance) - the result of a larger program entitled Medieval Greek Databases, carried out at the Royal College of the University of London under the direction of Professor Roderick Beaton of Modern Greek Philology - is an extremely useful research tool for the study of language and style, not only of Digenis, but of medieval popular literature in general. It is based on the edition of the work by Stylianos Alexiou (1985), and reproduces the text in the form of an exhaustive lemma with contexts of a metric verse for each lemma.
