I got the sand because one of my cats has asthma, as far as dust is concerned it definitely has much less than the classic sand. It is the first crystal one I tried so I didn't know what to expect, but overall it's okay. It took my cats a while to get used to it and it's still not their favorite but it is what it is. Not much sand comes out of the box so that's good, but when it does, because it's transparent and large, it hurts a little when you step on it lol and it turns into dust. It lasted a long time, but after a while it has a very strong ammonia smell which is logical because you only collect the bad ones. I don't know if it will be my favorite.

It holds odors quite well and does not stick to my cat's nails. Also, the handle it has is convenient.

I have been using crystal sand for a year, and I have changed brands over time. This one is the worst there is, not absorbent at all, it's like it doesn't exist. Usually, I would change the sand every 4 to 5 days, but with this one, it needs to be changed every two days. Also, because it's not absorbent, if I don't mix it myself with the scoop, it doesn't work well and my cat is unhappy. I bought it twice, thinking maybe the first time was a coincidence, but it's not even close to being a good product.

I consider that it lasted me a long time for 1 cat. About 1.5 months. Of course, during that time I added litter. At 1.5 months I completely changed it and I had some left from the first time. Of course, it was a small amount. It has one negative aspect. The pieces of litter are particularly coarse, so they don't go through my scoop.
