Scythe Kaze Flex RGB 140mm 4-Pin PWM Case Fan WhiteCode: 23554150

Fan 140 millimeters by Scythe for a computer case. When operating at maximum speed, it can push up to 100.8cfm of air per minute (cubic feet per minute). The higher the number, the more efficient the cooling the fan can provide. Higher quality fans can generate the same airflow with less noise and speed. It is of medium noise level at 26.45dB. It has RGB LED lighting. Connects to the motherboard with a 4-Pin PWM connector, which allows for controlling the fan speed.

Excellent quality and performance round frame and PWM 140mm fan with RGB (for color enthusiasts). The screw positions are similar to a 120mm fan due to its shape. Maximum speed is around 1750-1850 RPM.

Ideal for installation on an existing CPU cooler. However, it can also be used for a PC tower, as long as the overall available diameter of the case is compatible with its own and does not obstruct the installation of other 120mm fans. This potential issue usually arises in the front positions of the case. Therefore, prefer rear or top positions, depending on the dimensions/screw positions available in the tower for relative installation.

In my opinion, the optimal use is clearly on a CPU cooler, either as an addition as a second fan or as a replacement for the standard fan. As long as your cooler accepts a 140mm fan, which you will find in the installation manual or in the specs published by the respective manufacturer on their website. It was tested with excellent results on the Thermalright Le Grand Macho RT, as it improved the CPU temperature by 2-4 °C compared to the (already very good but with lower RPM, max 1300-1400) standard fan that comes with the cooler. As for the noise level, it is practically silent in the majority of scenarios, but you may hear it from 1500+ RPM (not like a jet!) in case of a stress test or heavy application usage that strains your processor.

In conclusion, it is a high-quality, powerful, and generally quiet fan at a price usually better than similar competitive offerings from other manufacturers.

The quality of the fan and its peripherals is very good. Be careful for those who choose to place it on a front panel of 3x120.. it is likely that the positions for the screws will not match if you try to fit 2x140 in the positions of the 120mm fans (it is designed to be screwed in the same positions as the 120mm fans, which is practical but you lose some performance)... in the Phanteks P400A, I had to make adjustments.. With 2x140, I had incredibly annoying noise from 1000 RPM and above because they were hitting the middle parts of the panel, disrupting the airflow and causing it to whistle. I ended up fitting 2x120 in the front + 1x140 and 1x140 on top, and I had much better results in terms of noise.. It works very effectively up to 1200 RPM... from there, the airflow doubles and the noise quadruples. As for the LED, it disappointed me by emitting a pale turquoise color that I cannot change no matter how hard I try. In conclusion, it has very good performance, very strong airflow, and the noise increases accordingly... Whoever is interested should first study the positions of their case.. if there are screw positions for 140mm fans, prefer the classic square ones... Otherwise, this one is very good but some adjustments may need to be made for it to work properly.

Very good airflow (5 degrees lower all over the PC) and silent. The RGB cable has, besides the part that goes into the motherboard, another one that allows you to add more RGB in case your motherboard doesn't have it. A small downside is that it doesn't have an airflow direction indicator, but it's not a big deal to add one and see it.
