In my effort to create my work "The Customs of Katsanochoria (Ioannina) in the calendar of the whole year", which has already been published as a book, I had the idea to write the booklet you are holding in your hands.
I thought that the history of a place does not only come from the written monuments left by its inhabitants, as these usually refer to the general life of the residents of each place. However, the color of this life is difficult to preserve, unless there are live representations, such as cinema and recorded scenes of life. Where these do not exist, I think that a work like the one I tried to present to you, offers a lot. [...]
