The coaxial car speakers DCX 130.3 were designed with great attention to provide linear frequency response and ensure high reliability. I installed them as a replacement for the speakers in my Suzuki Swift. I also kept the tweeters on the mirrors and everything plays perfectly together. Of course, they require a powerful amplifier or source, not the factory source that I have. Despite that, the sound improved but there is no significant difference. Overall, they are worth their money no matter how you play them.
I have the dcx690.3 on the shelf above the trunk in a Fiat Punto 188 with the factory source.... in the front doors, I have installed the hertz dsk165 split speakers... they play a decent sound, quite loud without distortions almost at maximum... the highs and lows are very good from the oval speakers, but from the front speakers, the highs are very good and the lows are almost nonexistent, not to mention that the right speaker for some reason buzzes... overall satisfied with their performance considering the price! and generally, what I didn't know and now understand is that the correct installation of the speakers is the key to prevent buzzing and to deliver the proper sound!
Guys, they do a very good job for their money. They were installed in a Nissan D22. With the factory radio, only when you turned it up all the way, it didn't have clear sound. It is an economical solution for good sound. Also, the set includes screws and adapters
Simply wonderful even after 3 years! I installed them on the front doors of the car and they kill it! I paired them with the company's split speakers on the shelf and it's unbeatable. Crystal clear and very powerful sound!
The only negative thing is that when I turn up the volume and it gives bass, it "hits" the door panel and they creak, but I solved it by unbuttoning the panel near the speakers when I want more volume.
They replaced the factory speakers of the car (Daihatsu Cuore) and the difference is very big, of course with the simultaneous change of the source from factory to aftermarket 4x50. They were installed in the doors with adapters.
Powerful and clean sound, you just need a subwoofer to fill in the minimal gap that the bass leaves!! Satisfactory enough..
Unfortunately, minimal improvement compared to the factory 20-year-old worn-out speakers that the car had. My opinion is that these play like a replacement for the factory ones and not as an upgrade. I suggest that anyone who wants to upgrade should look for other, possibly more expensive, options.
I didn't expect much from speakers of this size. Clear sound. Decent volume but they have less bass than the 4" ones they replaced.
They want an amplifier, it is mid ... and tweeter. I have them with 4x70 rms Sony and it plays at full volume, while the front ground zero burned the tweeters. Don't expect bass, it is mid. Before I installed the amplifier, they only played with the source.
The speakers are good. Their price is very low for the quality of construction, sound quality, and finish. I recommend them to everyone, they are serious speakers. Very sensitive and very clear sound
They were installed in a Hyundai Accent 2004. I was expecting a bigger difference from the stock speakers. Nothing impressive, just slightly better sound than the stock ones. And I don't know if there is anything better in these dimensions.
I don't know if it's the factory source of the Ford Focus, but I expected more things. They were carefully installed on the rear doors to fit uniformly and tightly. The result is almost the same as the factory ones. Just a little more clarity, which you can barely notice. As for the bass, forget about it, it's practically non-existent. It's a waste of the 67€ I spent. I don't know if they would perform better if they were installed in the front positions.
They replaced the factory speakers of a 2018 Citroen C3 easily and flawlessly. They significantly upgraded the sound, they don't distort when approaching the max volume (although don't push them too hard), they play loudly, they have good bass considering the power they receive, they have a sensitivity of 93 db, so they are easily driven, their highs are good, but we're talking about a cheap unit that plays with enthusiasm from the power source and not with amplifiers. Let them settle for a few days before playing them loudly. They are worth every euro.
For their price, they are great. 4 stars because they didn't have a single cable inside the box and I had to come up with solutions to connect them since the factory wiring was too short.
Very bad sound separation, the bass is lost, as well as some sounds. They distort at high volumes.
Really honest review after 2 weeks of use. Installed on opek astra to replace the factory ones. It is the worst thing I expected. Extremely mediocre, literally nonexistent bass. I tried tricks with foams to enhance the bass but in vain. Waste of money. In these dimensions, go blindly with MTX.
Clear sound, mainly in mid and somewhat high volumes, fully meets the manufacturer's specifications - clearly it does not have enough bass since such speakers are for mid to high frequencies, very good mount kit, they did not have external screens for installation in vehicles without, superior quality compared to other well-known brands in the same category.
Replacement of the rear factory speakers (made in China) in Fiat Grande Punto 2006. Phonocar bases with code 03920 are required for their installation for this specific car model. It was necessary to carefully bend down and back the 4 ears in order to screw them correctly with shorter screws than those in the package on the side of the base. Excellent result, satisfactory sound.
Quite good for their price but in my opinion, in this category and for the money, Alpine SPG-17C2 is better (I have bought both). Don't be afraid to get them, they are quite good.

I have listened to other branded speakers with the same peak wattage (not RMS), and none of them played like the Hertz. With a larger power source, things might have been different, but in my combination, it was just right. A solution for the bass would be an active subwoofer. When I find the time to install it, I will write my impressions.

They fit perfectly in the slots.

I give 4 stars because I also bought the detachable Hertz DSK 130.3 for the front and the difference in quality is huge, but the price of the detachable ones was almost double (59 euros).
Anyway, to tell the truth, even the front ones wouldn't sound so perfect without the help of the rear ones.

Edit: I now use the Alpine UTE-200BT as a source and the sound is amazing.
(However, the Alpine UTE-200BT lacks in Bluetooth connectivity and microphone sound, the cheap Osio ACO-4530UBT that I had is much better in Bluetooth.)
In the low and mid ranges, the sound is high-quality and clear, but in the high ranges, it deteriorates slightly, which is expected for speakers of this kind. (Just a note, I only have these in my car). They are definitely better than the factory ones.

Their sound is clean and pleasantly detailed. It sounds quite "expensive". The bass is not lacking, as the larger 17cm cone (compared to the usual 16.5cm) helps in this area. Solid construction, good materials, and waterproofing on the cone. Some people will like their small weight as well as the recommended placement in positions with limited depth. At the current selling price of €44, they are definitely a high-value-for-money option.
Initially, the difference compared to the factory speakers is immediately noticeable, their bass is quite good 8/10. Definitely, their purchase will not disappoint you. If you want to go to a level above the factory car speakers, I definitely recommend them
Either mine were defective or they are not worth it at all. They performed well in the highs, but the bass was terrible, as if the speaker was punctured! I don't think they are worth it

I have had them for 5 months and they are one of the best choices you can make. I play them with the Pioneer MVH-S410BT without an amplifier, crystal clear sound due to the built-in tweeters they have, and the volume they produce is very high. They also have very good bass. I highly recommend them!
