It is indeed not that long as on the photo, but not very short. I like the fabric quality. Sits nice. Don't know about the belly, I use it for breastfeeding and it is ok for me. Zipper is a bit dangerous, but just be careful. It's part of the style.

Good fabric quality but small opening for the chest to come out. Having a large chest, I struggle a bit until I manage to position the baby correctly.
