I am very satisfied. The Mbps speed that comes to the phone jack where the router is located is the same as the jack in the room where I have the other part of the TP-LINK where my computer is.
Just disappointment...
On Fiber 300Mbps line, in nearby sockets, it reaches at most 140Mbps and not consistently.
If I move them a little further apart, it barely reaches 10-20Mbps or even no internet at all.
I got it as a replacement for the RE505X model I initially bought because it had disconnections every 10 minutes via Wifi.
And in the end, this one turned out to be even worse.
I used to appreciate TP-Link but not anymore.
3 years user of the product and I am very satisfied. In a 50 Mbps line, when I first installed it, it reached speeds of 49-50 Mbps. Since I upgraded to a 200 Mbps line last year, it consistently delivers speeds of 160-180 Mbps. There was one instance where it didn't provide internet connectivity even though the Wi-Fi was working, so I had to unplug it and restart it, but it worked fine afterwards. It's worth the money and more, especially compared to the hassle of running Ethernet cables and having them clutter the house, and trying to hide them. Many technicians have told me that powerline adapters either work well or suddenly stop working. So, keep that in mind when considering powerline adapters.
The negative review is related to the fact that the actual speed was much lower than the Maximum LAN Speed of 1000 Mbps mentioned in the specifications. I imagine and hope it's because of my infrastructure (the cables passing through the wall) and not the product itself. However, it should be somewhere mentioned that this speed also depends on other parameters and these should be clearly stated!
It does what it promises, I have used it in two houses and it connected instantly in both cases. In the one year that I have had it, it works without any errors
After a year of use, they have never disconnected. They are plugged into sockets of the same power strip with a 25m wiring distance and they achieve the desired result with a 10% loss compared to the vdsl packages I had. (With a 50mbps download, I reached a maximum of 45-46mbps with a stable 4-5mbps upload, while with a 100mbps download, I now reach 89-90mbps and a stable 9-10mbps upload). The best value for money kit on the market in my opinion.

In a maisonette, it reaches the same speed as the router on the lower floor if connected with a cable (46 mbps).
There is a slight loss through WiFi. It reaches 40-43 mbps.

We bought it to provide internet on the other floor of the house. It does a very good job so far, 3 years later.
I bought this product so that I wouldn't have to run cables inside the house, an apartment with single-phase electricity, meaning an electrical panel. I plugged one end directly into the socket and the other end into the room from a 300 Mbps optical fiber line. I tested it in another room that is closer to the point where I wanted to go and I reached up to 135 Mbps. In conclusion, it doesn't matter if the Powerline is ONLY in the same electrical panel, but also in the same space, the same wiring, in the same safety, anywhere else and the further away we go, the connection is lost, at least in my case in a 100 sqm apartment. I tried it in the same space in different sockets and it worked properly, but only like that. I hope I helped, personally I installed a switch and got it from the room that had Ethernet and gave it directly to the adjacent room with a cable. I recommend it to someone who has close sockets that they want to connect and doesn't want to run cables. Now, for some people I've heard, I live in a detached house, I've put it on the ground floor and I get full speed on the first floor, what can I say, maybe the same wiring goes throughout the whole house, what can I say.
I bought it (over 2 years ago) when I still had a 50mbps line, with the 50mbps there is no discussion, everything is fine, no loss at 50mbps.
A couple of months ago I installed a 1000mbps inalan line, the powerline in the sockets that communicated with each other at 350+ mbps but the actual data transfer is only at 108mbps, I try in another socket (in the same room and both in neighboring sockets which I think are on the same line) and they communicate with each other at 600+ mbps but the actual data transfer is at 268mbps.
I can't know how good the electrical wiring of my house is, at the first opportunity I will try in other houses but they seem to work fine, maybe they could work a bit better but I am satisfied for my case.
I bought it for a 100 Mbps line, I was getting around 80 sometimes and 85 in a room 10 meters away from the outlets, which was a small issue as a slight loss was expected.
But now that I upgraded the line to a 200 Mbps, using the same cable on the router I get 210 and on the powerline it remains at 80-85, while the indication on the program they provide, when I paired the 2 devices, says it recognizes capability up to 230. Disappointing
I will tell you about my experience and my opinion based on my line. It is not worth its money, it does not have the speeds it claims, and they do not allow you to return the product if you have opened the packaging, a big flaw here. With a 1Gbps down/up line, it barely reaches 94 Mbps!! With a WiFi connection to the router, I get 600Mbps. They are fooling people, so it's a waste of money.
It was purchased to replace the wifi, as the distance from the router does not allow for an ethernet connection. During the first month, it worked perfectly and I was amazed. The download speed was almost at 100% of the 100 Mbps connection, stable and reliable. I thought I finally solved my problem as if I was directly connected to the router via ethernet. However, after one month, I noticed a significant and almost permanent drop in speed, reaching only 500 kbps, and frequent lag in online games that didn't exist before. I tried resetting them to factory settings through the app, changing the power outlet, cables, and even the port on the router, but they just won't improve. In the same circuit where they performed at 100% for over a month, they now operate at less than 10%. I have reached the point where I use wifi for downloading and these devices for online gaming (they are more stable in this area compared to wireless), but I am extremely disappointed.
Update 13/12/23: The problem was fixed after re-flashing the firmware, and now they are working normally again. I will see how long it lasts and will provide further updates.
Update 20/12/23: They worked steadily for almost a week and then started malfunctioning again. Currently, they are downloading at only 5% of the maximum speed, while in the previous update, they were downloading at 100% of the 100 Mbps line. No matter what I tried, they just won't improve. This purchase was a failure, a waste of money. I do not recommend them for any reason. The only positive aspect is that they provide a stable connection for online gaming, but for downloading, it is much better to use wifi.

I have been playing online games from my room on the ps5, which is on the other side of the house with two walls separating it, and I can barely get 10 out of the 50 Mbps that I have!! With these two, I get 47 even though there are other devices connected, but when I am home alone, it reaches 50! With the LAN cable, it's like having the router next to me. It's worth every euro, finally I can relax!!!
Simply and effortlessly does its job. You plug it into the socket and it works without... prayers or curses! For those who pay attention to aesthetics, with its minimalist design and white color, it discreetly fits into any space.
If it's not the best solution for providing fast, uninterrupted internet in any other part of the house, then it is definitely among the best. Much superior to wifi connection. Specifically, I am getting a speed of 100Mbps from the router to another outlet in the house, with a stable internet speed of around 70Mbps. There is some reduction, but it is reliable and does not have interruptions like wifi.
It synchronizes, so it does its basic job. It is supposed to pass 1Gbps overline, but it only synchronizes at 80 from my 300mbps
First contact with powerlines. The line I have is fiber 300mbps. Speed 120 Mbps download and 30 upload on a PC that is 10 meters away from the router. I am very satisfied
I have 100 Mbps and with that, I struggled to have 40 upload speed 5 and it broke after 6 months. It's better to have a good cable throughout my house, to be honest
Initially, I bought a pair to get rid of all the cables and I was completely satisfied with it. Then, I also bought a single one and connected it to my Nvidia Shield X1+ on my old LG 32" TV. I also use them for my PC and have connected my ADSL Router on it. So far (after more than a month of continuous use), I am absolutely satisfied.
Great choice! It saved me from the constant disconnections of a wireless network card I had. There is no loss in data transmission rate (bandwidth) compared to a direct connection with an Ethernet cable. A very important factor in its performance is the electrical network it will be connected to.

ALMOST automatic installation in 5 minutes. Simply connect one to the modem, then the second to the final destination and that's it.
On a 50Mbps NOVA line, you get at least 33Mbps, 40-43Mbps during peak hours, and 47-50Mbps during all other hours. I set the average at 46Mbps, which is very good.
Don't skimp on cheap powerline kits.
And stabilize the ethernet cable on the baseboard (if there is one) with adhesive packaging tape, so that the cable doesn't move left-right and therefore wear out the contacts. The same process for the PC or laptop.
Take it fearlessly, it's a repeating rifle.
The only thing I've been using for years mainly for online gaming and its performance is literally and without exaggeration like having my PC directly connected to the router via ethernet. Extremely stable (it has never disconnected even for a fraction of a second), I consistently achieve maximum speeds (just like with a direct cable to the router) and pings are 1-2 (max) ms higher compared to a direct cable. Essentially, the ping remains the same. So, I consider it top-notch and extremely reliable.
5 stars, if I could I would give more!! Amazing performance with 98 mbps directly on the router via ethernet and 97.5-97.8 with powerline, minimal loss! It's plug and play without needing to do anything. You can connect all other tp link powerlines without any problem. Very convenient that it has a pass through socket, which means you don't lose the socket by connecting it. If you have a problem with your wifi range, connect an access point and you'll be fine! The reason I bought it was to have ethernet on my laptop in the living room without having to run a cable through the whole house.
The set was installed in a 1956 apartment, with outdated electrical wiring. It took 12.5 minutes to pair the first time, but after that everything worked perfectly. The speed on the router is 12.5mb (hopefully fiber optic will come to my street soon), and 12.2mb on the computer through the powerlink. Extremely satisfied.
Installed in a house in 2000 with questionable electrical installation. With a 100mbps Nova line, it reaches 92mbps directly on the router with a UTP cable. The powerline reaches 89 to 90. After 2 months of use, it has not disconnected once. I consider the price a bit steep. Otherwise, I will buy another one to connect the TV. As many users have written, the powerline should be plugged directly into the wall socket and nothing else, even a power strip, should be plugged into the pass-through.
Instant connection, no pairing required. Minimal and imperceptible loss after measurements (1.5 to 2 Mbps). Download the application from the company's website and disable power saving mode on both devices.
My personal experience with this product is extremely positive. It's plug and play, which means that I simply plugged both devices into sockets in different rooms, connected them with LAN cables, and that was it. I didn't even need to pair them.
As for speed, there is no loss whatsoever. It's as if my PC is directly connected to the router without any intermediary device. I have never experienced any disconnections.
It seems like a very impressive product, despite the reputation that tplink products have for being unstable. I can only give it 5 stars. If I encounter any negatives, I will update my review. For now, it's flawless!
