So, you want an 8A-34B-C fire extinguisher weighing 2 kg, not 1 kg. For this reason alone, if you are subjected to an inspection that checks even the slightest detail, you will be fined, as a 1 kg fire extinguisher is considered insufficient according to the legislation.

However, a 2 kg fire extinguisher is too large for the car. So why is this one ideal?
According to an informative video from the fire department, fire extinguishers can be of type 8A-34B-C BUT they differ in the quantity of monoammonium phosphate they contain. The legislation, without mentioning it, assumes that the monoammonium phosphate in the powder mixture of the fire extinguisher is 40%. Therefore, to achieve the desired firefighting capacity, 2 kg is needed.
Those that do not specify anything are 40%.
This one is 85% (ABC 85% Dry Powder) and there are other very expensive ones that reach 90%.
Consequently, its firefighting capacity is higher than a 40% 2 kg fire extinguisher and exceeds the requirement of the law.
