Description

Rear tire of motorcycle Power 5 of the company Michelin. It is suitable for sport driving, meaning it is designed for use over long distances and at high speeds.

Its dimensions are 180/55-17. That is, it has a width of 180mm, a profile of 55, and can be mounted on a 17" rim. The profile in tires, meaning the height of the tire's sidewall, is always referred to as a clean number without a unit of measurement as it is a percentage of the width. For example, a 180/55 tire has a width of 180mm and a profile of 55, meaning it has a profile of 180 x 0.55 = 99mm.

The load index and the speed index are two other important characteristics of tires. Specifically, the load index is the maximum load under which the tires are expected to operate properly and is described by an integer number, which corresponds to kilograms, while the speed index is the maximum speed under which the tires are expected to operate properly and is described by a letter from the English alphabet, which corresponds to kilometers per hour. It should be noted that the maximum kilograms, corresponding to the load index, are referred to per tire.

Note: The maximum weight increases proportionally with the load index number, meaning that the larger the number, the greater the maximum operating weight of the tire. Similarly, the maximum speed increases as the letter of the speed index "increases", meaning that the speed index "S" corresponds to a lower speed than that of the "V" index.

In this case, the tire is 73W, meaning that the load index and the speed index are 73 and W respectively.

The TL marking comes from the initials of the words Tubeless Tyres. Tires bearing this marking do not require an inner tube.

It has nothing to do with the previous Michelins.. Incredible grip, quick warm-up, and by far better braking.
It may not be as agile as the 2ct for quick leaning, but you get used to it quickly. Besides, the 2ct also scares some people... These are semi-circular and provide a more linear leaning.
Without exaggeration.. it feels like you're standing still and just leaning.
    Dual-compound, but with 2 peculiarities...
1st they have a larger soft surface on the sides compared to the previous ones, 22.5% on each side.
2nd 2ct+ technology. Under the soft side, there is a hard one that supports maintaining shape during leaning due to weight.
Also, the extreme side has a texture like golf balls for better grip in wet conditions...
In wet conditions.. it sticks like a suction cup...
The newest generation of Michelin's tire!
On the same route, a mountain with curves... its value was evident... Stuck to the asphalt, without disturbances, and you will notice the difference in the suspension... Honestly, the BEST I have worn!!!!

The front one has torn, the rear one hasn't. But since they come together.. I'm deducting stars. Check the evaluation of the front one and you will understand
