It lights up perfectly and only turns on from dusk onwards when it detects motion. It detects even the slightest movement so sometimes it may seem to turn on without reason but that is not a problem for the times it will turn on without reason. Hopefully it will last over time functioning properly. Definitely worth buying.

I have put them on the pilot and above the external door. They work great. They detect motion from 6-7 meters away, and they illuminate satisfactorily to see the door, put keys, press the intercom, etc. In half a minute (if they don't detect any other motion) they turn off. They only work in >90% darkness, they are not so sensitive to work at dusk (I say this for good). 5/5.

It only turns on when it detects motion during nighttime hours, of course. Very good lamp, it has served me perfectly, I use it in the staircase but also in an outdoor area. It turns off after about half a minute.

How it works:
You leave the switch on. When it is daytime (there is light), it does not turn on. When it gets dark, it turns on with enough sensitivity to motion, for example, when a cat passes by, and it turns off approximately 1-2 minutes after the motion stops.

If I remember correctly, in absolute darkness, it always turns on (regardless of motion).

I wanted it for a recessed light on the balcony, but unfortunately it doesn't work there. The sensor is probably in the base of the lamp
