Simply the best. Much more expensive than all the others unfortunately, but it makes you look good. Even though I'm not a fan of the saying "you get what you pay for," it applies here.
Well, it does exactly what it promises but I feel deceived because nowhere in the description does it mention that it has a lifespan of 250 hours!!! We buy a product with an expiration date and we read it in the instructions for use. It is unacceptable. Consumer deception.
It's worth every last euro. Very well-designed breast pump. The best on the market for home use.
Quite powerful (my wife never puts it on full power), naturally it is not like the hospital-grade one but it does its job perfectly and its mechanism is relatively low noise.
Clearly superior to the previous model of Medela which had a screw-on head directly to the suction mechanism, resulting in sometimes not making good contact and making you think it was broken, and it was also noisy like a tractor.
It is also easier to clean and sterilize (all its parts are detachable unlike the old model which had an internal valve with a moving cap).
It also includes 2 "cups" for the breast with diameters of 21cm and 24cm, which have flexible silicone around them.
The only "negative" is its price which is relatively high - 130 euros - but we have never tried any other brand to know if it is indeed better than the cheaper ones on the market.
Also, what concerned me is the expected lifespan of "275 hours" or "2 years" of useful use as stated in the instructions, although in other reviews I see much longer use and that it still works.. We will see.
Other than that, we have never had any problem with this one so I would recommend it since it does what it promises.
Certainly it is not the hospital-grade professional one, but it is the immediately next in reliability and effectiveness.
It will help the new mom to "fix the nipple", it will help to "bring down" the milk if the baby is not very active in breastfeeding, you will extract milk for storage in the refrigerator or freezer, it will even be used to relieve breast congestion in case of milk overproduction in order to avoid mastitis cases.

I have used the hospital-grade one, what can I say, it can't be compared to the other two that I have from a different company. I have a large chest and the pumping was very good and easy. I bought another one from a different company afterwards and it hurt my chest as it didn't pump well. It is expensive but it's worth the money!
Easy and relatively fast to use! I needed to pump 2-3 times a day for about 7-8 months because I would return to work and it worked perfectly! It makes a little noise when you use it but it's not bothersome at all. I recommend it for those who want to pump milk daily!

I consider it expensive in general. However, without having experience with any other and not encountering any problems with it, I cannot judge if it is indeed expensive for what it offers.
I am generally satisfied with the everyday use I make of it. The only negative thing I find is that it is bulky and that it came with only one bottle.

It is definitely a good breast pump. I have had it for almost a year and I pump every day. It prepares the breast at the beginning and then pumps. Overall, it is good for home use but I don't think it's suitable for multiple pumps throughout the day. One negative aspect is that the funnel does not fit all sizes, and I had to pay extra to get another one. Also, something that no one in Greece mentioned, but is more well-known abroad, is that the tube can suck in milk and reach the main unit if you don't catch it quickly! That's why they have videos with instructions for this case (like in the instruction manual). Lastly, at least in the one I bought from a large baby store, it did not come with instructions in Greek!
A very good breast pump, useful for relieving breast congestion, especially in cases where the breast becomes hardened, it is a lifesaver in just a few repetitions!!
I am a mother who had to go back to work after the first trimester of my baby's birth... Using the Medela hospital-grade breast pump minimally, I was not very satisfied. However, borrowing a manual breast pump from a relative, I was truly desperate and anxious about whether I would be able to successfully breastfeed since I did not have a quick and effective way to express milk for my little one. 20 days before returning to work, I received this specific breast pump. I only had a small issue with the flange size. I needed a smaller size, but the problem was quickly solved at a nearby pharmacy. For over 7 months, I pumped milk 3 times a day - once at home and twice at work. If I didn't have this perfect tool, I don't know if we would have made it. The price outside the internet is outrageous. However, if you search, you can find it... I recommend it for working moms.
Years better than the mini electric. I don't give it 5 stars because they say that their hospital deserves the 5 stars, which I haven't used to have an opinion.
If you have a small chest like me, do not choose it, after use my nipples are like dog noses and sensitive. Generally, it does something from pumping but I do not consider it normal to press my chest and still extract milk after a long time of use. The flange is 24mm as it states and it almost sucks my nipple and still does not empty the breast. If I were to buy now, I would probably prefer the manual one because I saw very good reviews. Overall, as a company, it seems good to me and they pay attention to their design and materials, probably that's why their products are extremely expensive. For now, I am only very satisfied with the cream for the breast from Medela, Purelan, which is 100% lanolin and does not need to be rinsed before feeding the baby. I will review it there anyway, in the end, do not choose the breast pump.
I have been using this breast pump for 4 months now (I work 4 hours a day and pump milk twice a day). Very satisfied. Of course, the evaluation depends on what you expect. Don't expect it to produce 500ml in 5 minutes. I also do a little massage and sometimes use warm compresses on my chest. I haven't tried cheaper ones, so I can't compare, but overall - very good! My baby hasn't noticed the difference in nipples
I had rented the Symphony and in 10 minutes I had pumped all the milk, with the Swing in 45 minutes I had only extracted 10ml of milk!!!
I couldn't use it even once, luckily I borrowed it from a friend and didn't buy it!!!!!
It is a really good breast pump. I got it when I was worried about not having enough milk after 6 months with my first child. Now with my second, I use it daily because of work. Of course, if I knew I would be working, I would have gotten a double pump breast pump from the beginning to save time.

According to my wife and what I also see at home, this breast pump is by far the best on the market for single pumping (not both breasts simultaneously). It makes no noise at all while its motor vibrates like a mobile phone with a low battery. If someone is bothered by this "noise," then they should get a manual pump for their wife. But personally, I believe that if you have your baby next to you, it is more likely (definitely) to be soothed by this rhythmic vibration rather than being disturbed. The price is not high (we bought it for about €137) for the quality in material and pumping, as well as the fact that you can recover the cost within two months at most, in case you were renting a professional one. In summary: Small - flexible - powerful - quiet - affordable. (Buy it with your eyes closed, guys).
Very easy to use, relatively quiet and doesn't hurt at all. The speed is not that of breastfeeding, but it's not with any breast pump. If the expectations are correct regarding the speed and whether breastfeeding or milk production has been established, it is excellent and worth its 100% money.
For the first 2 months, I exclusively pumped milk with the breast pump because I had mastitis from the hospital still. Thanks to this, I managed to breastfeed my little one for 8 months
It is the second Medela swing breast pump that I have purchased, as it worked particularly well for my first child. It is effective and easy to use for limited use. For regular pumping more than twice a day, I believe hospital-grade rental is needed. The only downside is that its lifespan is limited. The new Medela nipple was a pleasant surprise, which my little one accepted with great ease

It is very difficult to evaluate a breast pump because its performance varies for each woman, as well as for the same woman at different times. Therefore, the evaluation is definitely quite subjective.
It is considered one of the good models on the market, probably because almost everyone manages to do their job with it, easily or with difficulty.
Personally, I struggled relatively, but in the end, I managed to express as much as I needed. Also, later on, I got a manual breast pump, with which I could express larger quantities in a much shorter time. But the manual one gets tiring after a while, and also, one cannot do anything else simultaneously (while with the Medela, I could use the time to send messages, etc.).
One thing you should definitely check is if the flange is the right size for your breast. The flange that comes with the breast pump is medium-sized, and if it is not suitable for you, it may affect ease of use, possibly causing pain or being ineffective. I think that played a role in my case (next time, I will order the correct flange to try!). I consider it slightly negative that there is no option to order the breast pump with the right size flange for each mother, but it has to be ordered separately.
It is not completely silent, but the rhythmic sound does not wake the baby if you happen to be next to it.
Overall, I like it, but I believe I had higher expectations from it, hence the relatively mediocre rating from me. Also, because I have another more effective breast pump.

I bought it on 17/10/18 because the professional ones I was renting had problems and I thought with a new product I would have peace of mind. It worked for a month and then it couldn't pump milk. The dealership I spoke to gave me the phone number of a technician who was not in Athens because the other one was on leave, they replaced it with another motor but they told me that it is for 3-4 pumps per day and cannot meet the breastfeeding needs if you want, for example, 8 pumps for meals. Because the money for this specific one is not small, I would advise a potential buyer to allocate an additional amount, even 1/3 of the money, to buy something else that won't bother them when it breaks and they've thrown a bunch of money away. Don't focus on the fact that you see their machines in maternity wards (like me). The quality of the product and the dealership itself do not justify this cost.
I was forced to use a breast pump from the day I gave birth. My baby is 5 months old and I extract milk with the breast pump 4 times a day. It has never failed me, I wouldn't change it for anything.

Coming out of the maternity ward, most of us were advised to rent a professional breast pump. However, we preferred to buy this one and we definitely did not regret it!
I think its performance is the same as the professional one I tried at the maternity ward! The noise levels are similar to the professional one and the pumping duration I think depends on the quantity of milk each mom has. Personally, I needed 10 to 20 minutes in total, depending on the pumping time.
The adjustable intensity is another advantage of this specific breast pump, although personally I didn't feel any pain and had it on the highest level from the beginning!
Finally, another great advantage is the bottle and pacifier provided with the device! The baby needs to suck in order to drink, mimicking the motion it makes when breastfeeding! I still use them even with the ready-made milk I give to my little one when we are away from home for many hours!

Definitely worth its money. I have been using it for a month now, all day long, as the baby couldn't breastfeed but is exclusively fed with my own milk. I consider a disadvantage of the Medela that it only has plastic bottles, but the nipples of NUK fit in its slots, and you can find glass ones. Another advantage is that you can buy a replacement part at a reasonable price if it breaks. However, I only recommend it to mothers who need it as a breastfeeding aid, as pumping from each breast separately is time-consuming. If I could go back in time, I would either get the Swing Maxi with double pumping or rent a professional one.
It's a shame we didn't get it from the first moment when the milk was more. Painless and relatively quiet. Very convenient for mixed breastfeeding, which confuses babies, as they usually can't suck properly from the bottle.
