The purpose of this book is to present and analyze the theory and mainly the practical applications related to the preparation of investment plans, as well as the methodologies - techniques for financing and evaluating investments and business programs, with an emphasis on productive investment plans that are addressed to development laws and secondarily to investment plans implemented based on the specifications of the Community Support Frameworks - NSRF.

For this purpose, the presentation of this book is based on the analyses and evaluations of investment plans according to specific standards/methodologies of both the recent development Law 3908/11 (as amended) and the current Law 4399/16 or other recent community investment programs. Specifically, this book is a practical guide for every researcher, investment - business consultant, entrepreneur, and student, as it helps in understanding all the basic concepts and is used as a main tool not only for acquiring theoretical knowledge but also for their practical, immediate application in planned investments.

The writing of the book was based on contemporary scientific developments concerning the theoretical approach to the preparation of techno-economic studies, as well as the long-term professional experience of the author in critical areas covering the broad spectrum of investment promotion (evaluation and control of investment plans, business financing, preparation of techno-economic studies - management of investment plans).

Additionally, the book is accompanied by a CD-ROM with alternative teaching material, which includes: digital lecture material by the author covering all chapters of the book, tutorial - case studies to support both the theoretical and laboratory parts of the course, an indicative question bank for exam coverage, as well as two excel files: calculation table of Law 4399 incentives, regime new independent SMEs of the study example in chapter 12, and viability tables of Law 4399-16, regime new independent SMEs.
