The SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Go allows you to transfer files easily and quickly thanks to USB 3.1 technology, between devices with a Type-C port and computers with a USB Type-A port.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
I have had it in my possession for two years now. I can only say the best things about this specific USB stick as it has been through a lot in my hands and it is definitely one of the best, if not the best, considering its price.
Firstly, I have to mention that the speeds are in line with the USB standard it supports. You can see the speeds in the screenshot below, taken by CrystalDiskMark while the USB stick was connected to my laptop's type C port.
Moving on to the positives, it is worth noting its incredible durability despite its plastic design. Today, I happened to forget it on my keychain while it was on the engine of my motorcycle. After thoroughly washing my motorcycle, it got washed as well. Just when I thought it was done and would never work again, it pleasantly surprised me. After a little drying from both sides, I plugged it into my phone and it worked perfectly! I was amazed! I had doubts whether it would work on my computer, but it worked just fine there too!
The only negative thing I can find about this USB stick is the high temperature it reaches when copying something to or from it, but without any noticeable impact on its functionality.
Considering its price, durability, speed, and usefulness (for both mobile and computer), the least I can give it is a 10/10. Highly recommended! Happy shopping!
I had it for a few months and used it very little since I had it as a backup USB. Suddenly, it stopped working completely, and it was not recognized by 2 Macbook Pros and 1 Dell Windows laptop.
Value for money!! The positive is that it works flawlessly after 1.5 years of use, I bought a second one exactly the same, it's very convenient for transferring files from the mobile type c to the pc! No comparison with the previous negative experiences from similar usb drives from other companies that broke from the first month!!! The negative I find is that it overheats easily! Be careful, no matter how good it is, the data should never be only on the stick!
My mother uses it to complete her tasks, and it has freed both her hands and mine, as I no longer need to give her my USB sticks every now and then
The double USB is very helpful for connecting a mobile phone to transfer photos, etc. to the computer. Sometimes it gets excessively hot, so do not leave it on top of devices.
Particularly user-friendly, with the dual connectivity option it has! And it works flawlessly! I am completely satisfied!!
It works properly, I have written a lot of data, I have formatted it many times, I have put a bootable iso with windows, I have used it on pc, smart tv, smartphone.... it was flawless everywhere. Typical data transfer speeds (about as promised).
*For some who might be scared of the temperature, yes guys it catches fire when transferring data, you barely touch it, however I have 4 of the same, they all burn when transferring data, all after 3 years they work like the first day without any problem at all.
I got two, one for my daughter to transfer photos and videos from her phone to free up some space, and one for myself to transfer some things from my old phone to the new one that doesn't take an SD card. Okay, it may be slow, it may get a little warm when transferring large files, but it does the job. I just hope it lasts.
It is a good value for money choice. Not the fastest, but definitely faster than other cheaper options with larger capacity that I have purchased. I will buy it again. Also, it is smaller than it appears in the photo, which makes it a good solution to have it on your keys.
It reaches high temperatures relatively easily. The transfer speed did not impress me. Otherwise, it is small, discreet, and user-friendly. I believe it is worth its money, around 10 that I bought it for.
The reading speed was nice but the writing speed to be honest is not very satisfying for USB 3.1. Also the whole USB stick is made of plastic and it's quite soft so it's quite worrying. But at least it has a large storage capacity.
Perfect for transferring data from your mobile with a type-c port directly to the flash drive (without needing a computer). Incredibly fast data transfer.
It has become my favorite USB stick with its practicality (dual plug), as well as its speed, all at a very good price.
Extremely small size. It has helped me a lot, I have put it in a mobile phone, tablet, laptop, TV, it plays perfectly everywhere and is easily recognized, I hope it will withstand the test of time. I got the 128GB version but with a 3.2 connection and not 3.1 as stated here.
The positive thing about it, which is also the only one, is that it is small in size.
The negatives in the first week of use are mainly the speed and the fact that it heats up quickly...
A similar product from another company does the same job in 1/4 of the time that this one needs.
The worst purchase I have made so far
It is a product that is a good buy for its money. The transfer speed is fast. When connecting from the iPhone 15 Pro Max and selecting photos to save directly to the stick, it is somewhat slow but it does its job by saving to the stick immediately. The 128 GB is more than enough to have backups and transfer them to an external drive easily without struggling with iTunes. I would just recommend letting it cool down every 20 minutes because it heats up quite a bit. Overall, it is a very good solution.
Luckily, I had the photos and videos of my 5-year-old granddaughter on another USB. This SANDISK 128GB suddenly gave up, filled up about 70%. I wasn't upset at all, it was incredibly slow and heated up a lot. I had bought it for its dual use, as I wanted to have it on my phone as well. And the 1 star is well deserved.
I ordered the USB stick some time ago, but it didn't have many files inside. Thinking it was 128 GB, I tried to put my school files on it, and it turned out to be ONLY 32 GB. It is unacceptable to be labeled as 128 and end up being 32.
Constantly required formatting to connect with mobile, and despite the formatting, it stopped working with both computer and mobile, and all this within 3 days. Unacceptable.
Very useful and definitely durable (I usually put it on my keys), but in terms of writing speed it is USB 2.0, not 3.1. I would buy it again.
It offers impressive read and write speeds of up to 150MB/s. It is compatible with both USB Type-C and USB Type-A devices, as mentioned. Making it a convenient choice for transferring files between smartphones, tablets, and PCs.
However, on certain Android devices, it may require formatting to FAT-32 before use, otherwise it will not be recognized.
The plastic construction seems somewhat cheap compared to other Sandisk products.
Overall, it is a good choice for those who need a fast and compatible option for both USB Type-C and Type-A devices. Just be aware that in some cases, formatting may be required and that the plastic construction may not be as durable as other options.
It never worked... and the worst part is that if you open the packaging, you can't return it...
I saw some reviews about the speed and I did a check to see what's happening with the speed
I'm sorry that I didn't get the 128gb, not that the 64gb is not enough - I have already transferred around 288 files and there is still minimal space occupied on the flash drive! The reason I got fewer gb was because I was hesitant that it wouldn't be compatible with my device (android OS, I don't know what happens with iOS), because I had heard a lot of negative comments about USBs with two ports! If someone wants to proceed with the purchase of this USB stick, I suggest they check if it has a higher capacity in terms of gb. It's a very good purchase and I highly recommend it! You can easily transfer files from your phone, as well as from your computer, and most importantly - very quickly! Also, Sandisk is one of the best companies in the field, so someone should not hesitate to choose this product!
Good but it didn't help me for the specific use I wanted it for... I wanted it for recording videos on iPhone 15 pro in 4k 60fps ProRes in Log but it doesn't support it... however, it is very good for transferring files directly to the mobile without using a computer!!
I do not dwell on recording speeds, etc. The build quality is crying shame. One year later, with light use, it has fallen apart. First, the rotating mechanism and then the plastic part of the USB.
Excellent dual stick with 128 GB capacity and at a good price. I tested a 20 GB file, which it wrote at an average speed of 91.7 MB/s (steady speed), while it read at an average speed of 370 MB/s. In the Crystal Disk Mark benchmark, it oddly showed a lower write speed of 77 MB/s. However, it did not heat up at all, and I am impressed that some people say it heats up. Maybe it does heat up during long recordings, like everything else. Excellent choice at an excellent price.
update: The double capacity (256 GB) proved to be much slower, with a maximum read speed of 140 MB/s and a write speed of 42.5 MB/s in a test of the same large file, while in Crystal Disk Mark, the read speed was 146.56 MB/s and the write speed was 73.91 MB/s.
So far, everything is good with the tool, it works perfectly and the amazing thing is that it fits everywhere, mobile, laptop, television, car. For its price, it is super. I hope it withstands the test of time.
It does its job perfectly and is very convenient. In terms of durability, I accidentally put it in the washing machine (with colored clothes) and when I discovered it in the drum after days, it worked perfectly and without fading.
Very user-friendly, you can quickly transfer whatever you want from your mobile to your computer or vice versa, or you can simply and quickly empty your mobile of files that you don't want to delete..
As a USB stick, it's worth its money. I am satisfied, but within a short period of time, the plastic from the USB type A port broke, resulting in not being recognized by all devices
I bought it because it was 128GB, with dual port (to work on a Tablet) and because it was cheap. It is practical, fits on keys, etc. But the speed is frustratingly slow for USB 3. Max 30MB/s for copying large video files, both in NTFS and exFAT format. I expected something a little better from Sandisk, but you get what you pay for.
