11 Programmable Buttons

You have an arsenal of commands at your fingertips as you can set up your favourite macros and secondary functions through Razer Synapse 3. Like its predecessor, the Razer Basilisk V2 includes the multi-function button feature.

Razer Hypershift

Suddenly, the mouse 3 (scroll wheel click) is not working properly. I press it, it doesn't respond, and then I have to apply a lot of force and maybe it will work. I went to Razer Support, entered the product code, and it tells me "Your product is no longer covered by Razer's Limited Warranty." It has only been a few months since I bought it. I am tired of faulty products from certain companies. This is the first time I bought Razer and I regret it.

4* because it is not as durable on the sides, it can be easily damaged even in the first months!! Also, there was a sound of creaking in the first month on the left click! Also, it is not the best for clicking the left button for gaming with weapons!! I'm not saying it's bad but maybe not the most ideal!! Maybe the Viper would have been a better choice in the Razer

One of the best mice I have ever held in my hands, comfortable and very suitable for me personally, as I have big hands. However, a problem that occurred to me almost a year later really annoyed me a lot, which is that the scroll wheel started acting up. I would scroll down and it would go up, generally not working correctly. Something that bothered me a lot.

By far the best mouse I've ever had in my hands. My hand fits perfectly on it, so it never tires me out. It's fast, it's sturdy, it's RGB, and it also has many buttons for anyone who wants to program them. Money well spent

Comfortable, convenient, and adjusts to your hand very quickly.

I also have to say that its buttons are silent, and I think they also have a double-click function (for those who don't know, it's a function where you find the click somewhere, press it a little harder, and it gives you a double click. I can't explain it in more detail). The left side button reduces DPI by 80%, which is great to have for stable sniping.

Also! I emphasize, as soon as you connect it to your PC-Laptop, the Razer will appear for you to download Razer Cortex and Razer Synapse. They are very good applications that boost games with more FPS. It has a mode to add FPS and CPU analytics on your screen, etc.

Synapse has a custom feature to customize the mouse, just like all other Razer products, where you can change the max and low DPI, the RGB, etc.

It's worth the money and more!

  • Comfortable, nice, wonderful in handling and with many settings, it doesn't have anything negative, the only thing I noticed is that sometimes it requires a strong click of the mouse to execute a command. For the money it costs, it is much better than other ones in its category.

After 3 days, the Scroll button (middle button) starts double-clicking... What can you say...
    I've tried everything, it's a hardware issue...

Edit: It's ridiculous to buy such a mouse and have such problems. This issue with the button switches has happened to me not only with this model but also with another company, for example, with Logitech... These things should be mentioned... I have 5 different gaming mice and 3 of them had these issues... It's unacceptable to get such a thing even with an OEM mouse...

Edit2: The Scroll left button also broke... I will send it for repair, I won't give it to them as a gift after all. And to think that I don't even mishandle them!

  • Lightweight with a nice feel and grip, it glides beautifully. The buttons are slightly tactile but nothing to worry about, and the lighting is subtle without being excessive. +++

I bought the mouse as a replacement for the Bloody Gun V7, which was terrible and lasted me 5+ years. It is quite comfortable and fits perfectly in my hand. It glides very well on the mousepad, just like the rubber grips that do their job very well. It is lighter without necessarily being bad, but I don't feel it is as sturdy in construction compared to the massive Bloody mouse. The truth is, I don't trust Razer, but I thought, why not give it a try and see how it goes. I hope it lasts for 3 years. I will update in case of any issues.

It was purchased for €70 ... The best thing I have ever put in my hand ... Incredible response, perfect click!! Adjustable wheel with + - for the hardness that everyone desires ... the side buttons are the best for me, as I play Fortnite and I have set the wall and floor for immediate hit!! I love the sensitivity button as it reduces the DPI and you can have absolute control over the scope in Sniper, for example!!! It is worth more than its money... The design suits me, while I immediately sold the Deathadder I bought because it was hurting the bone in my right wrist!!!

Amazing response, beautiful colors, and very durable cable. What else could you need? Oh, and 20000 dpi (unnecessary, of course, but better to have more than to be lacking). One of the best purchases I have made.

It was purchased for 70 euros. There was a transition from the Razer Abyssus v2 that I had for several years.
From the moment you hold the mouse, you understand how good it is.
It was purchased solely for use in FPS games. It has endless possibilities through the Razer Synapse program, for various profiles and for lighting. Very comfortable in the hand, especially for me who have a large palm, it embraces the whole mouse. Very good response time.

I have had it in my possession for about 2 months. I am extremely satisfied. With the previous mouse I had (deathadder), I had a problem with my wrist. With this mouse, even after many hours of use, I have no issues.

Very high quality, purchased during black friday for 60€. Very comfortable in the hand, fits perfectly in my own which is quite large, as if it was carved for me. The mechanical switches have a very satisfying click with immediate response. The adjustable scroll wheel is a big plus. Depending on the feeling you desire, you can adjust it at any time without difficulty. The dpi clutch can be switched with any key or macro you want. Personally, sometimes I use it without reason, just as a fidget toy. The lighting is very beautiful, fully adjustable through the software, which personally gave me a little trouble.

    In summary:
Very reliable mouse, comfortably ranks among the company's high-end products. It's worth it at 60-70€ maximum. I can't confidently recommend any option above that

The best wired mouse for its price in my opinion. Very responsive, with tactile and silent clicks. The weight, for its size and the fact that it is solid and not with holes for less weight, is very good. Lightweight and very convenient especially if you have a claw grip like me. The cable is long enough and of very good quality, it feels almost like having a wireless mouse. It carries one of the strongest (if not the strongest) sensors on the market, pixel perfect movements, etc. And in terms of customization, it's incredible, with Razer Synapse 3 you can change from many colors and lighting modes for the RGB, and if you also have a Razer keyboard you can pair them together and have synced lighting.

It was purchased for 60€. For that money, it is very good, especially for those who play fps. The extra button on the side is very practical. The RGB is also beautiful (especially the breathing effect). If you have large hands, I think it will suit you better than the g502, like it did for me

Do not take it, I slightly hit it out of rage on the mousepad, which is relatively soft, and the scroll wheel broke. Meaning, it couldn't move left or right and it completely came out of its position. If we compare it to the Deathadder Elite, which was my previous mouse, this one is not even a million times more durable. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT

The perfect mouse for my hand, for a large hand, and it also has a base for resting the thumb! It is sync RGB with the synapse 3 software for the latest peripherals from Razer, it synchronizes them all in the same color and mode (e.g. pulse, etc.). The scroll wheel is amazing and has left and right pressure for scrolling without having to move the scroll wheel up and down! The best mouse I've ever had!

I bought it because all Logitech mice are programmed to break due to the faulty switches they use (the well-known double click issue). This one has optical switches, which means it won't have such a problem, and it's the first Razer mouse I bought for that exact reason.

As a first impression, it's really good, lightweight for its size, very comfortable (fits in the hand like the G502, maybe even more comfortable). The scroll wheel has a resistance adjustment, but it never reaches the hyperscrolling of Logitech, even in the most free setting, it slows down and stops as soon as you let go. The Razer software is much better than expected and doesn't have any particular issues.

    Overall, it's worth its money.

Good mouse as an alternative to the g502. I would recommend it to those who wanted a mouse like the g502, but lighter (~120g for the g502 and ~80g for the basilisk v2) and to people who want/need a mouse that has the button on the edge that by default lowers the dpi to 800 (very useful, especially for those who play fps games with snipers and guns). PS. You can set the button that lowers the dpi to whatever dpi you want for as long as you hold it. For example, if you want it to go slower, you can use Synapse 3 to make it lower the dpi to 500 or even less. In summary, it's a good mouse that is very comfortable, ergonomic, and beautiful. PPS. When I say that the buttons are somewhat noisy, I mean that you can hear them when you surf the internet, but not enough to bother you. Just a little. Well, when you play games, you don't pay attention to them, so yes
