Unpublished and rare photographs, which complement the three-volume Diary of Queen Frederica, and depict, in a direct and vivid way, the multifaceted journey of a central figure in modern Greek history, which, despite the enormous speculation, remains essentially unknown.

The album "Queen Frederica. Photographic journey, 1937-1967" is released on the occasion of the publication of the three-volume "Diary of Queen Frederica, 1938-1967", including all the photographic material of the volumes. Following the text of the Diary, the photographs capture the multifaceted social activity and actions of the queen, as well as scenes from official ceremonies and her visits to Greece or abroad, as well as family moments. The first photograph is from the year 1937, from the engagement of Frederica with the then heir Paul and the last one from 1967, just a few weeks before the king Constantine's counter-coup in December of the same year. The photographs are preceded by brief texts that serve as a summary, as much as possible, of the Diary, which is a source of great historical significance, detailed and direct, as it was compiled almost every evening for about thirty years.
