Description
With this book, initially written and presented as a theatrical anthology, Euripides Garantoudis addresses George Seferis, to remind him of his poem "In the manner of G.S." (1936) and especially the famous verse "Wherever I travel, Greece wounds me" and to inform him about their fate, after the poet's death. Through the "dialogue" with interspersed Seferian texts in the narration, as well as poems and texts by other authors, the narrator reflects on the connection of verse with the timeless experience of Greek poets for their homeland, in other words, the "longing of Hellenism", the old and the contemporary.
