The image is beautiful and the feel of the wood construction is nice. The pieces are of lower quality than expected as small pieces come off from the very first uses.

Overall, a relatively mediocre to good backgammon set. Nice design and large.
What I didn't like at all is the bottom. Where we play, that is. It is thin and because it has a gap at the back, it creates a hole every time you press it. It is definitely not suitable for aggressive backgammon players. It goes without saying that it is not for high pressure situations.
The checkers are simple and probably plastic. It has 2 pairs of dice, a doubling cube, and 2 cups to shake the dice. If you are looking for something sturdy, look for something else.
