When we talk about vacuum cleaners, Black & Decker is a guarantee….! So with this stick vacuum, I can only say the best…. The light in front is very helpful. At the highest setting, along with the brush, it makes a bit more noise, but okay, it's not a big deal…. It sucks very efficiently even at the lowest setting. Even though it makes very little noise and gives the impression that it won't suck as well, it does just as good a job at the lower setting. Okay, it doesn't suck like the Pivot vacuum (which I absolutely love), but compared to another stick vacuum I had of similar price, this one is by far better! It charges both the battery alone if you want and the whole vacuum with the battery on top! I highly recommend it!!!!
I have been using it for 2 years, it is a very good vacuum cleaner, very easy to use. The front light is amazing. The only thing it needs is cleaning and washing once a month, otherwise its performance decreases. But when it is washed, it is like new and very powerful!
The only thing I cannot find are the attachments for sofas and various other things. When we bought it, they were not included in the box, and when I searched on the internet, I couldn't find them anywhere in Greece.
This vacuum cleaner is something else! First I will mention the positives and then the negatives...
POSITIVES:
1) It breaks into 3 pieces and stores easily but besides that you can vacuum with the whole vacuum cleaner or only with the handheld part or with the handheld part and the "stick" without the bottom part!
2) The bin empties very easily
3) The vacuum cleaner has a light at the bottom, which is very convenient especially for "hidden" spots
4) It has 3 intensity levels for vacuuming
5) It has 2 modes for carpets and hard floors
6) It is worth its money and is one of the top vacuum cleaners
NEGATIVES:
I only have 1 negative... when I ordered the vacuum cleaner and it arrived, I opened it and 2 small attachments (small handheld parts) were missing. I sent emails and made phone calls and they kept telling me that the waiting time was 8 HOURS, I was calling from morning until night for 1 week and nothing. So eventually I left it like that because I didn't have more time to deal with it, just be careful about what you receive.
I will do an update after about 3 months to let you know if it still works and how it is
UPDATE: It has been almost 2 months and I have to say that the vacuum cleaner is FAN-TAS-TIC, it is worth buying this one! it hasn't had any issues at all even though it is used every day.
UPDATE 2 (5/5/24): It has been about 6 months since I have it and it is truly a "beast" I use it EVERY DAY and it has helped me a lot in life! I recommend it to everyone! If I had the rest of the attachments that they didn't send me, I would give it a 5/5 but only because of the indifference I give it a 4/5
For the money, around 140€, it is good. It is quite powerful! However, it is very heavy! Especially when using it as a handheld vacuum. The battery lasts a long time, it charges easily, the dustbin empties easily, and overall it is user-friendly. If it was lighter, it would be the perfect handheld vacuum.
Very good absorption power. Easily collects pet hair from carpets. Three power levels. On/off button and a third (black) button for use on carpets (special rotating brush and lighting). In the highest power level, the battery (18V, 2Ah) lasts for about 30-40 minutes of continuous use. A second battery backup is necessary. It can be hung on the wall along with its charger. The dust container can be easily inserted and removed, but you have to remove it (with a simple movement) first from the handle of the vacuum cleaner in order to empty it. The noise level is relatively small in db, below average, even on the third power level.
It has a normal weight, easy to handle and suitable for older age without any problem. It easily collects the cat's hair, even from its furry pillow, as it has an extra brush on the sole. The light it has on the sole is ideal for checking if you have cleaned all the areas properly. As for the battery life, with the light and brush in operation, it cleans a 36 square meter house 2.5 times, alternatively, without them, it lasts much longer. The battery needs at least 4-5 hours to charge.
The worst thing about this vacuum cleaner, I really don't understand how it has good reviews. It doesn't suck up anything at all. I bought it to have it as a handheld vacuum, but now I don't know where to give it away. It's only good for kids to play with and pretend to clean
After purchasing the dryer, it was the next purchase that my wife loved.... Very powerful as a tool.. Due to children, vacuuming is very frequent.. The regular vacuum comes out less often...
Positives: 1) It has the motor on top, which means it can go under beds and sofas
2) The battery, if it fails, is not expensive to replace.. Also, its battery can be used in other Black&Decker tools.. Or vice versa..
3) It doesn't stand upright on its own... (because I had a little one that stood on its own, it fell at least 3 times and eventually the bin and some other fasteners that don't change broke)...
P.S. As a purchase, it may be expensive because with 149 that I bought it, you can get many corded vacuums that may be much better than a stick vacuum... BUT the convenience that the stick vacuum has given us in everyday life is unmatched... And this review is based on approximately 2 years of stick vacuum use...
I return after about a year. The performance of the vacuum remains the same, but there was a need to change the filter. Black & Decker in Greece does not provide any contact phone number on its website, but refers you to the KOUMBIS partner (Ilion) for household appliances. I ordered the filter from this company and it has not arrived for a month now. I called them again today and they informed me that they do not have spare parts in stock in Greece, but they order them from England. Goodbye to Black & Decker. A month now and still no filter! Imagine what will happen if someone needs to use the warranty in case of damage.
STAY AWAY FROM BLACK & DECKER PRODUCTS. YOU WILL NOT FIND SPARE PARTS AND YOU WILL RECEIVE POOR SERVICE FROM THE KOUMBIS COMPANY. BLACK & DECKER IS NONEXISTENT IN GREECE.
ONE STAR DUE TO NONEXISTENT SERVICE AND LACK OF SPARE PARTS.

After a few days of daily use, I would like to mention the following:
+ Lightweight and flexible, it's a breeze to clean the entire house.
+ It has a wall mount where it can permanently sit with the charger plugged in, and it takes care of keeping the battery in good condition. No need to plug/unplug the charger.
+ The battery is removable, and if you have a tool of the same brand that uses a similar battery, you can use it as a backup and even swap them.
+ The battery is more affordable compared to other brands at around 35 euros, so you can get a second one for emergencies. Batteries for other brand vacuums cost around 80 euros.
- 5 hours of charging time, could be a bit faster.
- The dustbin detaches too easily, so if you accidentally push it, it falls to the floor, opens, and spills all the dust. It's difficult to clean up afterwards. I solved this problem by securing it to the handle with a scratch. However, it's a major design flaw.
- It doesn't have extra attachments, such as a brush for curtains, like most vacuums do. It only comes with a tool for crevices, but it doesn't suck up much with it.
- The battery lasts for 58 minutes on the first power level, which doesn't do much, 25 minutes on the second level, which I generally use, and 16 minutes on the third max level, which is for heavier dirt/dust. For example, because I have a cat, it sometimes throws the litter outside, and that's when I need the third level and a bit of patience.
- If you don't clean the dustbin regularly, the performance dramatically decreases.
- It works well on hard floors like parquet and tiles, but it's mediocre on carpets. Also, the rotating brush does all the work, so if you deactivate it, even on the max power level, the suction is poor. Of course, you deactivate it on carpets, so it does a mediocre job.
- It doesn't stand upright on its own, only on the wall mount.
Personally, it suits me for everyday use. Of course, I have hard floors in my house. I clean it frequently, for example, every 3 days, to maintain its performance, and I secured the dustbin with a scratch to prevent accidental spills. It is lightweight and flexible. For a quick everyday cleaning and whenever my cat makes a mess with sand, it works great.
Given the above shortcomings, I consider it expensive for what it offers. I just hope it has durability over time. I will write comments again after a reasonable period.
P.S. After 8 months of daily use, the performance of the vacuum cleaner or the battery does not seem to have decreased. Everything I mentioned above still applies. I just want to add that if a hard small object gets stuck in the brush, like a toothpick, the spinning of the brush will wear it down and leave scratches, so be careful about what you vacuum. It only works for dust, dirt, hair, and maybe sugar, coffee, crumbs, etc. Keep away from larger debris, pick those up first.
