  I really have no words for this specific product. It saves you from a lot of pain and expensive treatments. I started using it after consulting a gastroenterologist. He told me that I have acute gastritis and that I should avoid spicy sauces, fried foods, coffee, and other similar things. I used to have terrible heartburn after meals, especially when I drank coffee. I started using it and after about 4 months, I started seeing results.   Erosive esophagitis, reflux, back pain, indigestion, loss of appetite, inability to eat with an empty stomach, difficulty sleeping, waking up in pain after lying down all night - it's a battle. Rest and sleep are not possible! And medications by the kilo for a year so far, and there's still a future... Thank goodness for Nexium, because after months of taking it, I started experiencing less pain. But how long can you live with antacids and inhibitors, and what long-term side effects do they have? I was skeptical, but I bought the Mastiha powder and I immediately noticed a big difference! I still don't know much to say, it's only been a few days. I feel better with just half a teaspoon! And I feel better in the morning when I wake up. I can't imagine how I lived without it before. I'm already anxious that it will run out and I'm checking to buy it again! Patience, and I will come back when I have used it for a longer time for more accurate information.

  (Update 7/8/20: 10 days later: I take half a teaspoon immediately after eating. The first few days I had ups and downs - sometimes better, sometimes the same as before - and a lot of gas, burping. But then it started to calm down. The difference so far is that indigestion is maybe (?) a thing of the past. I still struggle with sleep and waking up in the morning due to nighttime reflux, but the pain and discomfort are significantly reduced when I wake up. Not like before!! Maybe half the discomfort. Sometimes very few, at 30% of what I had. I finished the first box and I'm moving on to the second. I will come back here if I see any other changes or, God willing, a cure.)
  (Update 16/8/20: Indigestion is now non-existent. And in the morning, I wake up without pain anymore!! I take Mastiha 10 minutes before meals and whenever I feel the need in general, and always before going to bed! I gradually reduce the use of Nexium and carefully check to see if I still need it. :) Good luck to all of you too!!)
  (Update: 1 year later 21/7/21: The condition continues to be stable and successful. Twice within the year, when I felt slight heartburn (in February and when the heat started), I took Mastiha for 4-5 days and everything calmed down quickly again.)

  I have gastroesophageal reflux disease. Chest pain, back pain, and waking up at night from regurgitation, even if I don't eat anything at night, are normal for me. I should add that I exercise and have a very healthy diet, but I still produce more acids because I am excessively anxious.

  My review is a bit rushed, due to my excitement (if anything changes, I will mention it), because from the first day it has eliminated all the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease and I can sleep continuously for 8 hours (restful sleep = happy day).

  I stopped taking antacids and only use mastic gum, in a much smaller quantity than recommended. I drink it daily, 1/4 teaspoon.

  P.S. Antacids are an extremely problematic treatment because they dissolve all the essential B vitamins for the nervous system, leading to forms of depression or worsening existing disorders. Many of the antipsychotic treatments are abusive and dangerous because you can experience much more than you think with a little exercise, a healthy diet, and good company.
