Generally, Lara's reboot is different from the old games, but the first two games were relatively good and fun to play. The third part becomes very boring and Lara seems cynical with no interest... It's a shame, I hope for another reboot of the title in the future. Also, Lara appears different and the costumes are dull

Very pleasant and commendable, just like the first two in the series. I don't think it surpasses the graphics, sound, and gameplay of the second one. It seems exactly the same to me. Nor can I say that it lacks enemies. You don't play Call of Duty to encounter enemies... you're not in Battlefield... you play Tomb Raider, and that means first tombs, ancient temples, and puzzles, and then shooting. I consider the characterization that it lacks shooting to be invalid. As I mentioned before, it is a very enjoyable game. The only negative thing I found is that it is very dark in closed spaces and the flashlight is something that turns on by default when it should be used by the player at will because you lose detail, and you always have to use the environmental awareness button to be sure of what is around you and where it is exactly.

Boring, predictable, and "tear-inducing" when it comes to the plot.

A combat system that doesn't bother, but won't be memorable.

Puzzles, without logic, to the point where I resorted (after many years of playing Tomb Raider) to YouTube to find a solution, although admittedly the last one was probably more of my own obsession, stemming from my frustration.

I did finish it, but only so I could uninstall it. No comparison to the original "next-gen" Tomb Raider.

Excellent game, with a good story and a relatively short to satisfying duration. Tremendous graphics, superior to the previous 2, nice gameplay and plenty of weapons. Many things to do in general and very beautiful scenery throughout the game. Worth it for 10-15€.

Well, having played the previous 2, this one is noticeably inferior, with few battles and a lot of climbing and climbing. I liked the puzzles with the tombs, but they might tire some others. The story is indifferent and boring, and the first 2 nights that I played it relatively slowly, I fell asleep, which is happening to me for the first time. I read related reviews, but I bought it for only 15 just to complete the trilogy.

Very nice story and I see that the gameplay has evolved compared to the old titles of previous consoles! A worthy game that someone should play to see Lara's story and connect the puzzle with the rest of the games in the series! From me, it's a yes!

It seemed very small compared to the previous two. Shallow story, mediocre gameplay. Many skills that are difficult to unlock and require NG+. Few battles. More freedom in the world with secondary missions.

The third part and for me the best! Relative open map as you can move as you like! Many side tasks that increase the duration of the game!
The graphics incredibly realistic! The story captivating! The analysis of Lara's character aspects complete the trilogy puzzle!
    Definitely 10/10!

I consider that the current price for this masterpiece is very low. Tomb Raider games, in general, at least in the last two console generations that I have played, have not left me indifferent. In this game, you want to collect and complete everything (e.g. tombs, extra missions, weapons, etc.), I'm not referring to multiplayer because I don't deal with it. Tomb Raider games have had a very good evolution up until now.

Having played all the Tomb Raider games, I can say that it is, if not the best, definitely up there. Excellent gameplay, nice graphics, good story. For the first time in a game, I didn't get bored playing the side missions that will keep you in the game for longer. Very good upgrade system. Great title for trophy fans.
For fans of the series, play it on hard mode.
It's worth buying with the DLC.
P.S. Finally, Lara has returned to the tombs.

This review is about the edition: Steelbook

The steelbook is beautiful but a little different from what the photo shows. I loved the game, I had played the Uncharted The Nathan Drake Collection before this and I loved that I didn't have to kill an army to progress, but mainly to focus on exploration. It had action in several points (mostly towards the end) and beautifully enriched "levels" with things to do. The only negative is that they made 5-6 NPCs that we won't interact with much and just placed them everywhere on the map, making small changes mainly to their clothes

The game is a journey. Everywhere I took pictures. It has fantastic landscapes. In the climbing system, it surpasses the uncharted. In some points, it has even better graphics. It also reminded me a bit of the addiction from tomb raider 2.
Why do some of you compare it to the previous 2? It is much superior! In every aspect! What do you want, to shoot all the time? Get Doom! Here we have an adventure with everything! And for this price, there is no discussion. In terms of duration, the previous one is slightly longer. So what? I finished it and threw it away. While here, I played the extras again. Many of you underestimated it, while it deserves it

As with the previous Tomb Raider games, this one is excellent. It also has many elements from Uncharted 4, although it doesn't have as much action as the previous two Tomb Raider games. It's more Hollywood-like, but it still has its own action. I liked the story of this one more than the previous two Tomb Raider games. It's my second favorite Tomb Raider game after the first one! A step below the Uncharted series. 9.5/10

A good game with its good and bad aspects.
It is beautiful. It has amazing graphics. You truly feel like an explorer. Very good platforming. Climbing is awesome. The challenge tombs and the atmosphere are exceptional.
The story is mediocre, it picks up towards the end but it's not enough. Bad photomode for Lara. Very mediocre shooting given in weird levels where you can't understand where the enemies are coming from. The combat is too linear. They focused too much on exploration and puzzles. Collectables everywhere. Endless. It's like reading stories. They made rushed levels for battles.
The shooting part in Rise was a masterpiece compared to this. It seems like another studio took over. And of course, no special connection to the trilogy. Only the word trinity.
For its price, it's worth it to admire the jungle design.

By far the worst of the trilogy. I was eagerly waiting for it to come out because the first two were amazing games, and I pre-ordered the Croft edition assuming it would be even better. However, it turned out to be the complete opposite. No innovation, no difference in graphics except for the lighting, terrible story, and it's much shorter in duration compared to the previous two. Personally, I regret spending my money on it even after a year. And the worst part is that I can't sell it because I bought it digitally. I only have it to say that I have the complete trilogy. Needless to say, I won't play it again. Immediate deletion and hiding from my console's library so it doesn't remind me of anything from this game.

Guys, I'm reading some comments below about it being boring or having bad graphics. Honestly, the game is epic. The best graphics by far in the series... And on the same level as the previous one. And definitely much better than Rise of the Tomb Raider. For me, it's an easy 9 out of 10... AMAZING GAME
