Protect your computer's data by keeping your M.2 drive cool with the Icy Box Heatsink from Raidsonic.

Thermal plates function just like thermal pastes on processors and are another means for optimizing the heat dissipation of electronic components.
The aluminum thermal plate extends on the surface to be able to dissipate more heat to the surrounding area and not to the disk in order to optimize performance.

Value for money purchase of a cooler for LEXAR NM790 on PS5.
Good build quality and easy installation on the disk.
Also, its profile is low and does not interfere with the SSD case cover.
The downside is that the instructions are a bit lacking, and if you haven't installed this type of cooler before, you might have difficulty with the included pads.
Very good cooler and at a good price. I give it 4 stars because there are better ones! But it's value for money and it does its job very well! (I use it on my PS5)
For now, it seems to be doing the job from 49 degrees at idle, I reached 40, and in gaming I'm around 49. The package includes two adhesive pastes, I imagine one for replacement, and the rubber bands to keep it stable.
Okay, it doesn't make a big difference on the evo970plus. But 60 is different from 55 degrees. Of course, my M2 is in the worst possible position, below the CPU and behind the VGA. This cooler is the thinnest I found and it fits just right. Definitely, in a different position, it would have better results. It is easy to install. For the money it costs, it is a good value for me
It was installed without any problems on the Kingston KC3000 to fit into the PS5. It appears to be of high quality construction and fits perfectly in the slot for the PS5.
It lowered the temperature by 4-5 degrees. The paste is with double-sided adhesive, but it can also be applied without paste using the rubber bands that come with the packaging.
It is an affordable solution to the NVME-M2 Ssd temperature problem. Personally, I noticed a difference of 5-10 degrees. It can be easily installed with or without the rubber bands. As a plus, it includes an additional thermal pad in its package
Very good cooler at a good price. I give it 4 stars because it didn't have clear instructions for installing the cooler and the manual it had inside was not sufficient, and the video I found on YouTube also didn't explain adequately. Overall, I installed it on a Samsung evo and so far no temperature issues.
Good value for money, I installed it in my PS5 and it has been working flawlessly for over a month now. It boots up from the SSD.
It was installed quite easily on a WD SN850. It is a quality product that delivers what one expects it to do. The packaging includes 2 thermal pads and rubber bands for better contact with the SSD. For me, from an economic perspective, it is the ideal purchase to be installed on an SSD that will later be placed in a PS5. I hope I helped.
I did not use the rubber bands. It was installed on a Samsung M2 970 evo plus and it has a decrease of 5-10 degrees
I replaced the existing factory cooler of the laptop and I saw various things !! Before, during long hours of gaming, it would shut down due to temperature on the m.2 as the s.m.a.r.t. control was hitting. Now I have about 15° less while gaming. I didn't see any difference in idling.
Simple, cheap, easy to apply and inexpensive but you will see about 5 degrees less. However, it will keep an SSD in working condition. Generally prefer the two side heatsinks that enclose the M2.
I installed an Nvme for the first time and decided to get a cooler because I've heard it's good. I chose this specific one and so far (1 week of use) I am satisfied, the Nvme (Kingston A2000) runs at 29-31 degrees no matter how much I "stress" it
I did not see a significant drop in temperature, which means either I do not have good air-flow or that the summer when I tested it was not the best measure of evaluation. It was installed in a Samsung 970 Evo plus.
The heatsink is excellent, significantly reducing the temperature of the 970 pro which was overheating in the NZXT H510 Elite and causing crashes and blue screens.
It is easy to install and use, with the adhesive tape and two small but strong and durable black rubber pads included helping it stay on any M2 NVME SSD.
With the purchase of the Corsair ICUE 5000x and a new motherboard, it is no longer needed as it includes a cooler and the case has more space and better airflow. That's why it has been placed on a Crucial 1TB in the second PC, doing the same good job.
I am very satisfied. The rubber bands are for installation only, but in the end, I didn't even use them. I may have put it slightly crooked on my 970 evo plus, but it didn't bother me much. Besides, it was too late to take it out and put it back straight, because it wouldn't fit well with the double-sided thermal adhesive tape.
One piece of advice, so you don't experience what I did: Try to align it properly with your SSD from the beginning. It sounds logical, but if you drink 40 coffees a day, it's a bit of a challenge
I have been reading about rubber bands, and for a while now I have the heatsink on top and everything is fine. It is stuck on a Kingston A2000 SSD 1.0TB M.2 NVMe, the thermal adhesive does not remove the warranty label of the disk in case the heatsink is removed for any reason.
The thermal pads have double-sided adhesive, so they stick both to the disk and to the heatsink and hold it firmly in place...
The rubber bands are ONLY used to hold the disk in place until it is stabilized and screwed onto the motherboard. I did not use them at first and it came loose (one side tilted), but after two minutes with the rubber bands (I removed them), it was AND IS ok.
It does a good job, but it is held in place on the M.2 with two rubber bands which, as you can understand, are expected to break relatively quickly and easily due to the temperature. There are similar Chinese implementations with much better application. I wonder why the rubber bands do not appear in any of the product photos
Unacceptable to hold it with 2 rubber bands in 2021. They could have put 2 rubber pads like other manufacturers. But it would increase the cost for them by 2 cents. Otherwise, it does the job. 3 stars for the rubber bands
In samsung 970 evo plus, it lowered the temperature by 10 degrees! It works!!! I didn't remove the sticker on top, firstly so as not to lose the warranty and secondly, from what I read, the sticker might be a type of thermal sticker on the 970 evo plus samsung.
In Samsung 970 evo plus
Idle 33 stress 50.
It is worth it and more.
One rubber tore during installation...
Overall, it has good quality construction and excellent thermal pads.
Do not remove the disk's sticker, you will lose the warranty. The difference in cooling is negligible with or without the sticker.
So-so. It didn't impress me much with the temperature on the Samsung 970 EVO Plus M.2 NVMe. Only a 5-degree difference.
I have the 970 Evo plus and the temperature dropped from 50-51, which it used to reach occasionally, to a steady 38. I also added a small fan on top. It's great now, good value for money. It does a good job.
Perfect! Very easy installation.
Up to 20c lower the Samsung Evo 970 on its controller!
Very good results for the summer months!

Good cooling for NVME drive.

Excellent for the intended job. It lowers the temperature of the NVMe by up to 15 degrees.

Not something special with almost the same cost there are more quality solutions.
Very good heat sink!!

No rubber bands or anything! Sticks on and doesn't go anywhere! Works great! As for cooling, just okay!
