Daria refuses to succumb to her boss's persistent desires and, fearing that she will be fired, decides to take a second job at the international dating agency "Soviet Unions".

In her new job - and while trying to bridge the language gap between the beauties of Odessa and the lonely Americans - she wonders if she will ever manage to escape the hardships of life in Ukraine and find true love.

So, when she starts corresponding with a kind American teacher, she decides to risk the journey to the other side of the Atlantic.
