Forget cleaning the filter after every drying cycle
Auto Clean tumble dryers have eliminated the lint filter on the door. Instead, they feature a system that automatically cleans the lint after each drying cycle, so you don't have to, while maintaining top energy efficiency. Specifically, the lint is transferred to a special container at the bottom of the appliance, which needs to be emptied after approximately 20 uses. Another advanced Bosch technology that makes your life better!
Let your dryer choose the right program for your clothes
Choosing the ideal program to dry your clothes can be complicated. Not anymore, thanks to the Smart Dry function. Your dryer communicates with the washing machine via Wi-Fi to automatically select the correct drying program based on the last wash cycle, without the use of an external device or application. The smartest and easiest way for perfect drying results, every time.
Your ironing assistant
Reduce the pile of clothes that need ironing. The Iron Assist program sprays your clothes with steam, which penetrates the fabric fibers and visibly reduces wrinkles. As a result, some clothes no longer need ironing. Ideal for delicate jackets, shirts, and even suits.
Automatically recognizes when your clothes are completely dry.
The Bosch tumble dryers with AutoDry dry in an especially gentle manner and to the degree of dryness you desire, for ironing, direct storage, or completely dry. The sensors measure temperature and humidity, thus protecting your clothes from excessively high temperatures, over-drying, and shrinkage.
Extremely quiet and durable
The innovative AntiVibration side walls are designed to offer greater stability and significantly reduce vibrations during the operation of the appliance. Additionally, the enhanced sound insulation minimizes noise levels, making Bosch dryers very quiet. Enjoy moments of peace and relaxation in your home.
Ease of use thanks to the simple menu
ComfortControl Plus is particularly easy to use, thanks to the simple operating environment, combined with a high-resolution TFT display and plenty of program options and special functions. The clear text in Greek and the symbols provide you with all the information you need at any given moment.
Smart home appliances that make your life easier
Bosch home appliances with Home Connect technology offer you complete control wherever you are, with a simple touch. Use your portable device to practically control and remotely monitor your home appliance.
The energy consumption of your household appliance is in your hands.
We all have the ability to choose our household appliances, but we can't always control energy consumption. If you use an EEBUS-type energy management system for your smart connection to the power grid or have a photovoltaic collector, you can now choose when your household appliances will operate, and this through the Home Connect app. Your home's energy management system uses the best available energy source to operate your tumble dryer. Thus, you enjoy household appliances that perfectly align with your environmental sensitivities.
The right drying program for your clothes
Choosing the right program for your tumble dryer can not only confuse you but also lead to poor results for your clothes. With Home Connect and its Easy Start function, you don't need to guess. This function always suggests the program that is suitable for your clothes, directly on your mobile screen. All you need to do is select the type of fabrics you have in the drum and set how dry you want your clothes to be. All through the Home Connect app on your mobile. This way, you can easily choose the right program and get perfect results. Every time.
Your dryer responds to your voice commands
Thanks to the collaboration with Amazon's Alexa, you can now control your dryer through voice commands. Discover if the relevant "Home Connect" feature for Alexa applications is available in the country you are in and the language you desire. Simply activate the corresponding skill to create the connection between Amazon Alexa and your dryer.
Heat Pump Dryer
Operates with a heat pump, a technology that recycles hot air, resulting in lower energy consumption. Clothes dry at lower temperatures and wear out less.

The dryer is excellent. If you follow the programs and don't leave the clothes inside for hours after they dry, then you will truly never need to iron again. The consumption is minimal. With daily use, programs that last at least 2 hours, it measured about 8-10 euros of electricity per month, with the kilowatt-hour prices fluctuating. It saves you time and is more expensive than the competition both within and outside the company, but it immediately recoups its cost if you consider the time wasted on hanging, gathering, ironing, the stress of making sure they don't smell like, for example, fireplaces, that they don't dry out from the sun, that they don't become damp from humidity. Lifesaver! It's a bit noisy - it's definitely not silent, but if you close the bathroom door, you don't hear anything. I recommend it!
So, let me share my experience......
The reason I started looking for and buying a dryer was to avoid the well-known clothesline in the living room..... (unfortunately, I didn't succeed☹☹☹)
And why do I say this? Because no one told me that you can't put everything together like in the washing machine, you have to separate them. So, a dryer that has towels and sheets is divided into two programs: one for towels and another for sheets.
Yes, the towels come out super soft and smelling fresh, and they don't need ironing, but if you don't fold the sheets, you're in trouble......
Yes, it has many programs, but most of them are useless, like 1 shirt, 5 shirts, etc.
It can hold up to 9 kilograms, but it only has one program for 9 kilograms of clothes. Most programs are around 3 kilograms and 1 kilogram (meaning if I had chosen a smaller capacity, the programs would have been different).
It doesn't make much noise (unless something has a zipper, but that's understandable).
Sometimes the clothes are not 100% dry (but maybe it's my fault because I haven't fully learned how to use it yet, I've had it for about 3 months).
I don't know if it consumes a lot of electricity, I think not because it's rated A+++, but I'll see in the long run....
The filters are easy to clean, only the water it collects at the bottom is a bit mmmmm.....
If someone else is considering buying a dryer, I would say yes, you need it because there are times when it comes in handy (I want dry clothes in two to three hours), but you don't need something so expensive in my opinion.
I don't have anything bad to say about it, essentially we live in Greece where there is mostly sunshine, and I think it was a lot of money for something that will be used for only 3 months (except for the towels, which I'm thinking of using in the summer)
The clothes are quite wrinkled. They definitely need ironing afterwards. The good thing is that the towels come out very fluffy, like new. I haven't used any other dryer before, but everyone told me that clothes don't need ironing. Maybe what we mean by ironed clothes is subjective. I haven't used it many times, but so far I can say that it's not worth its money. A cheaper device could do the drying as well. I hope I will change my opinion along the way..
Very good construction. Generally quiet. Large capacity. It does its job very well and I believe it is necessary for a family when you have 4 loads of laundry per week. The only thing that bothered me a little was that although it is A+++ in the eco program, if you put thick clothes and a significant amount of weight, then some clothes do not dry adequately well and remain damp on the edges, such as tracksuits or sweatshirts with thick lining. Other than that, I am satisfied. It dries the clothes in 2.5 to 3 hours. I don't have a clear picture of the consumption yet. I hope the A+++ rating will have an effect.
After about three months of using this product and having used most of the available drying programs, I can say that:
It is very economical in terms of power consumption.
It dries clothes 100% with a gentle touch and a fresh scent (tested on my workout clothes).
It has a variety of programs for every type of clothing, sheets, etc.
It operates quietly (I have it in a bedroom).
It has home connect, which I consider very important because you can choose various programs from there, saving more drying time and power.
You don't need to clean the lint collector after every drying (I change it every 7 times, the manufacturer says 20, but I believe it depends on the clothes being dried each time).
You can steam a shirt and pants up to 5 pieces in 50 minutes!!!
P.S: Since we got it, my wife forgot what ironing means!!!
When I say it wrinkles clothes moderately, I mean only some shirts
"I have purchased the device. I cannot have an opinion on whether it is good to rate it because nothing has dried yet. However, I would like to express my complaints about the warranty provided by the dealership. I do not know what they mean by warranty. Let me describe the events. I bought the device on 10/12/2020, I turned it on, and after a while, it stopped with the message 'pause and continue with start'. I tried, but it didn't start. I contacted the store where I made the purchase, reported the damage (which should have been done within 14 days of purchase), and they told me to contact the company's service. I informed the local service, they came and saw it, and told me they would contact Athens and get back to me. They called me and said, 'the circuit board needs to be replaced, and we will order it' (I called the Athens service, told them the problem, and that I wanted a replacement, and the employee said, 'I will note it'). The circuit board arrived, and it was replaced (at home), it started, and then displayed the same message again. The local service told me, 'we will contact Athens' and they will tell us what to do. They called me and said, 'we need to take it to reprogram it'. They took it, returned it to me after a few days, I turned it on, it started, and after a while, the same message appeared. I contacted Athens, and they said, 'whatever the local representative tells us'. The local representative told me to wait for instructions from Athens. After a few days, the local service called me and said, 'they told us from Athens to change another circuit board'. I told them that I do not accept another repair, so I called Athens on 2/2/2021, asked to speak to someone in charge, and they said, 'it is not possible, we will record the problem and you should request a replacement, and the responsible person from the service will call you'. I have pointed out to them that the device did not work even once, so it was defective from the factory. I am still waiting, today is 12/2/2021.
P.S. The above review is a copy-paste, as I sent it to the company. They 'cut it off' by sending me an email titled 'Rejection of Review' (Apparently, this is how they want to maintain their stars in customer reviews). I am still waiting..."
We bought it because of the discount and the positive comments we read here.
With average use since then, 5 times per week, I agree with the others.
I usually use the cotton program (on high +). T-shirts, etc. need ironing afterwards, sweatshirts not so much if you fold them immediately. Sheets, for example, wrinkle a lot.
When I put the baby rompers (just by saving the ironing, the purchase was worth it :p), there is a little noise from their buttons, as they find themselves in the drum.
The downside for me is that we don't have it on top of a washing machine, but only on its own, and cleaning the bottom collector is a bit difficult. I do it after each cycle, although the manufacturer informs you approximately after 20 cycles, I think. The instructions say that water doesn't matter, but I still remove it afterwards, based on comments I read here.
In the first drying, I put my dogs' blankets to test. When I took them out, they didn't have a single hair and they were so fluffy and soft that I was about to sleep with them!!! The best thing ever!!! And I have experience with dryers.
Quality machine with nice design. I have had it for 2 months with about 15 drying cycles, I have never had a dryer before, so I have no point of comparison. What many people say that it doesn't wrinkle clothes and doesn't require ironing is an exaggeration, the clothes do wrinkle, they just come out slightly less wrinkled than with conventional drying (I attach a photo of 2 clothes in the regular cotton program) except for towels, which indeed are the only ones that don't wrinkle due to their "fluffiness". Shirts and pants wrinkle quite a bit. It should be noted that I take out the clothes immediately after drying. If the reason to get a dryer is to avoid ironing, then give the money to someone who will iron for you for a while. I have connected it to a drain and the condenser does not need to be emptied, however, the water that goes into the drain is the excess from the condenser, so if you're going to be away for a while, it's good to empty it so that it doesn't accumulate and mold. It's fairly quiet, especially when it's full and the clothes don't hit the drum, with the bathroom door closed, it can be heard but without much annoyance, somewhere at the level of the washing machine's operation, not during the spin cycle of course, but during the wash. In the positives, the home connect with some small bugs, easy to use screen, light in the drum when the door is open. Clothes in the cotton program don't smell at all from fabric softener or detergent, they smell like hotel towels, meaning almost nothing, but everything comes out soft as the hard fibers break from continuous tumbling, something that you don't have with conventional drying. The humidity sensor speeds up the program as soon as it detects that the humidity has dropped, and you have the option to add extra drying level from 0 to 3 if you feel that the clothes are not completely dry, it makes sense for thick clothes with multiple layers or pillows. After 1.5 years of use, everything is fine, the lint collection from the special system at the bottom has its negatives as it needs to be cleaned every 10 or so drying cycles and when you remove it, it has lint that needs to be careful not to spill. It is also prone to mold buildup. In a traditional dryer, you simply collect the lint from the front mesh and that's it.
It does everything it says and indeed does not damage the clothes. The quality is quite good. It requires a vertical installation base to be stable. It also connects to the internet for operation through the Home Connect application, which I consider easier for selecting the desired program.
After 7 months of purchase, I am quite satisfied. Okay, there is a process for cleaning the filters (every 3-4 washes) and emptying the water collector (about 2 times, approximately. I haven't connected it to the drain), but I am very pleased with the drying and the nice smell of the clothes. A pretty good product, I no longer worry about hanging them to dry. It's worth the extra money I paid
I waited 6 months before commenting. Purchased for 850€. Unfortunately, it is of Polish manufacture/assembly, but on the other hand, better than Turkish...
Let's start with the positives...
Huge illuminated drum.
Quality materials of German origin.
Completely silent and extremely well-balanced!
Bosch Connect, worth every penny... in combination with the washing machine (also Bosch), it automatically selects the appropriate program and saves you from the process of selection.
Very efficient filters.
Immediate and easy access to the condenser for extra cleaning-drying from steam, which in the long run will prevent the formation of mold.
Screen for a seminar... easy to use, fully understandable with many options so that one can achieve the ideal drying for every type of fabric!
Rotary program selector, which just by touching it, you realize exactly what you bought!
Minimal wrinkling, excellent drying.
Sheets do not need ironing if they are put in separately, except for the corners, which, however, is an issue in ALL dryers, without exception.
Negatives...
Do not make the mistake of waiting for the indicator for filter cleaning to light up!!! Especially when drying cotton frequently, spend some time and clean both filters thoroughly, as well as the space under the condenser that collects a very thin layer of fluff, and also dry the same space thoroughly as it retains a sufficient amount of water that will cause long-term mold odors and unwanted accumulation of fluff that will penetrate the pump, condenser, pipes, etc... It's worth it, do not neglect it!!!
The water retention at the aforementioned point did not impress me at all, and when I asked my dealer about it, they said it is considered normal!!! Just like the mold that will come to greet you with its beautiful smell over time and will keep good company with your clothes...
Leave the front lid of the condenser open after each use so that the remaining moisture that nests in the most unlikely and inaccessible areas can evaporate.
Take the trouble to connect the condensate to the drain with the special hose included in the device to save yourself from the excess moisture...
An excellent device with serious prerequisites to withstand time!!!
I would only change the Home Professional series if I had the financial comfort to go for Miele...!!!
I hope some people will benefit from my comments, have a great summer everyone.
UPDATE...
Because there is a lot of fuss about the water in the base of the dryer, that if someone empties it, the automatic cleaning of the device will not be done correctly, I inform you that in the immediate next use, the required water is collected so that the cleaning can be carried out smoothly, which, in any case, takes place 8 minutes before the end of each program...
Personally, I insist on removing the excess water!!! Moisture means a problem...
The machine continues to operate perfectly!
After 1 year of use:
+ The good thing is that it is beautiful.
+ It doesn't need cleaning, we clean it with 2 people and a baby once a month.
+ It doesn't leave any moisture as others have mentioned, the water that remains in the system is for self-cleaning.
+ I won't discuss consumption and the rest.
+ Anyone who has another dryer and has seen and heard it tells us that it is quiet and fantastic that it is self-cleaning.
-
Difficulty connecting the drainage hose as the sinks do not have a socket for the dryer.
- Several steam in the bathroom, but we open the window and everything is fine
After about 1 month of intensive use, we have been impressed because:
a. Washing and drying clothes is no longer a hassle, it simply happens without us even realizing it, especially with the heavy-duty program and other actions.
b. We have pets, both inside and outside the house, and it does a great job of removing hair.
c. It is indeed quiet and has many programs.
d. With the wifi, we are notified when it finishes so we can unload it (whenever someone is available), otherwise, we choose the time we want the program to end.
e. With autocleaning, you forget to clean it.
f. I don't want to discredit other companies because I don't know, but this one has done a good job and because I have tried the after-sale service, I preferred it over others, which may be equally good.
Amazing device, we are very satisfied.
Properly dries clothes, many programs so you can choose the right one for any type of fabric. It also has an option for precise drying adjustment according to each person's preference.
It dries at very low temperatures, I have accidentally put clothes with prints, elastic, and very delicate ones and it didn't damage them at all!!!
Fantastic build quality, sturdy, stylish, and relatively quiet. It seems like you bought a quality product from its assembly, drum, mask, etc. Ample space in the illuminated drum for clothes to unfold.
The patent with the lint container is very convenient, no need to clean the filter every time, once a month or so. If there's one thing that stands out about this dryer, it's that they eliminated the filter on the door. Much less time for cleaning.
The programs that are supposed to steam the clothes did not satisfy us, they simply spray the clothes with water and they come out wet, they don't offer anything. After several tests, we will not use them again. However, if you remove the clothes immediately in regular programs and fold them, many of them don't need ironing afterwards. It depends on the fabric and your requirements.
The user instructions are detailed and explain how to use the device correctly in each program so that the clothes do not wrinkle and dry properly.
Attention! The water in the base is used by the device for cleaning during and before the end of the program, do not collect it otherwise the rinsing of the condenser and filters will not be done properly! Especially in small loads where there may not be enough water!
I should note that the clothes smell wonderful. It is a bit expensive, of course, but we hope it proves reliable over time.
UPDATE two and a half years later:
The device works exceptionally well, no issues so far.
I have performed maintenance with the cleaning liquid in the corresponding program twice and it looks like new inside, without odors and lint.
It works like the first day!!
