I do not have experience with any other grill pan. However, this specific one seems quite good so far. It is superb for grilling! The lid is quite useful as it keeps the temperature and grills evenly. Unfortunately, I made a small scratch with a plastic spatula, so I have been using silicone since then and everything is fine. There are some stains left after cleaning, but it's okay. Maybe they will come off with scrubbing, but I'm afraid of damaging it. For its price, which I consider economical, it does a great job. I recommend it!

It is mainly used with meats on a ceramic stove.
Lightweight, heats relatively easily, does not stick much fat. On the other hand, it does not retain much heat (so you have to cook on a higher flame) and the grooves are very shallow - so the meat is cooked in its own fat.

It is not bad for a price around 20 euros, but prefer something with a thicker bottom and deeper grooves.
